Haven't seen any around at my usual local stock up stores sadly...Not sure we'll see any. It's hit or miss on what we get around here even if it's a brewery we usually get regular stuff from.

Drinking another one now, this beer is fantastic. Awesome taste, amazing mouthfeel, smooth as silk. Glad I have 10 more of these, but I should have bought more!

Quality of beer + ease of acquisition + great pricing + awesome customer service + great release day experience = It doesn't get any better than this!

The 3 releases over the last month or so at Sixpoint have been some of the best beer experiences I have ever had.

What a great porter, impressed with the BA 3 beans. A year ago I might have been on the fence about sixpoint but after seeing everything you guys have been doing you might be the most slept on brewery in America. Seriously.

Had the 4 Beans Rye barrel last night. Outstanding!! Prob my fav of the 3. Great balance! Nice bite from the Rye, and the vanilla coming through to enhance the coffee and chocolate. A really great brew!!!

More to come. This is just our first barrel-aged canned release - 2018 will feature several more.

yes, as already noted, you will be getting a very small supply...

let us know if you have any issues tracking it down...always willing to help out a fellow Badger

I have a feeling that won't last much longer. We have not even released our most innovative stuff yet - and not just referring to formulations here. We've reimagined many other aspects of beer, can't wait to share.

Thanks for the sincere compliment. It is interesting that a couple of months ago there were some very loud doubters and folks drinking the Hate-O-Rade, but suddenly all of the haters and trolls have gone suddenly remarkably silent. Meanwhile, a very keen group of true beer lovers are slowly building a critical mass with us as we reimagine what the beer experience can be like. We're making history together.

At the end of the day the product, experience, and feedback speaks for itself. The first-of-its-kind native app and beers themselves have delivered. The best thing about this is we are just getting started. Next up: we are going to rip up the wildly clichéd, unimaginative, and overdone tap room experience. We're looking forward to sinking our teeth into that one...

A very Happy Thanksgiving to all from the Mad Scientists!

I can't speak for every single account at the moment, but I did see a recent Tweet that it is on the shelves in Burnsville, MN at Red Lion, so it's out there in and around the Twin Cities in other spots as well!

@Sixpoint I was going to call out a few of those folks but then I remembered
1.) You're pretty good at communicating your thoughts, you don't need my help
2.) Life is way to short and the liquid always speaks for itself, Sixpoint rarely fails there

Have a fantastic Thanksgiving with the family. See you in December..

Drank 5BEANS last night. Really well done beer. As long as you're aware it's aged in port barrels and contains tart cherries. One too many reviews on Untappd are negative, only because people didn't realize that before.

Sipping on a 3Beans and watching the NFL games. The beer is fantastic with nice barrel presence, soft mouth feel, and sweet chocolate. Overall a very well balanced and enjoyable beer.

I, like some others was skeptical about the 107 day barrel aging thinking this might be 'light' on the barrel side, but it is noticeable and adds a nice complexity to the beer.

    Well done @Sixpoint @SixpointJMH

    Thanks Shane!

Cracked into the 4 and 5 been variants tonight!

4 Beans was just awesome... Just love that rye note, big sucker for that in porters/stouts. Hey @Sixpoint was there any rye in the grist or is that note just from the rye whisky barrels? Vanilla addition was nice in this one, faint but adds to the complexity. This may be my favorite of the trio!

5 beans was so unique (in a good way). The cherry addition mixed with the port barrel made for one complex brew. Raisin-like caramel notes I picked up on, a light tartness and roast. A lot going on there! The more I drank it, the more I enjoyed it.

I plan to do formal reviews on here soon for these two with more detailed tasting notes when I crack open another can of each. Tonight I just enjoyed the beer for what it was without thinking too much about it!

were you able to track any down?

have not fed the trolls since 2004, so why start now?

definitely had the most red wine character of the three, for obvious reasons....but the combination of that with the sour cherries did throw some people off guard, in a good way!

great, I'm glad we settled that debate! :-)

the 4Beans actually had no rye in it at all, even though it was aged in a Rye Whiskey Barrel....that being said, we do have a rye beer aged in a rye barrel coming out soon....stay tuned!
