This still seems off for me. So, if I get there at 7am, then anyone that shows up at 7:20am can jump in front of me if they have a ‘buddy’. How is that fair?

As long as you get a ticket it really doesn't make a difference. The rare variants will all be taken by people already in line now.

Line cutting is prevalent because most people wont stand up to stop people from doing it. If more people called those line jumpers out, you'd slow that behavior down. Nothing like watching a group of 2 balloon into a group of 10. Happens way too often.

I got there after 8 AM last year, got a full allotment and 13 and 14 BW so I am not that worried

 

I certainly don’t want to overreact, but the extra Prop and Coffee in the Binny’s LP-specific allotment changes the dynamic somewhat.

I just don’t see why 1,000 people would get there before 6 AM, but who knows these days.

 

I think we are the top 5% here and tend to drive the hype amongst ourselves. I look to the Mikerphone release yesterday. Some arrived hours early while others strolled in at 7pm and left in 5 mins.

 

I agree with you, mostly. But nobody is strolling into LP in any PM hour and getting a full allocation tomorrow. Or the next day for that matter, of which people will be at Mikerphone at opening tomorrow.

 

ok since no one doesnt want to give an update. I got here at 7 and the scene is insane. I am,easily 250 in line and it wraps around the entire building. looks like a refugee camp with all the tents.

first time ever so hate on me for being bitter but there is no chance for a VR or Prop 14. I was told last year if you got in at 10 you had a variant. this alone seriously makes me question beer hunting. it is so oit of control now. we need a,commisioner.

No judgement here at all. Have you actually done a head count? I know people have said the front of the line looks like a lot more people than it really is because of the tents.

Just got here myself, much earlier than intended due to the info here. Hard to tell with all the tents but it sure does look like a few hundred to me.

 

This can be fixed by limiting sales to only those who can furnish state of IL identification

 

You would have to take multiple just to get the whole line wraps

 

Wow... 300 didn't hit til around 3am last year. Already at 200+ at 9pm? That's not good...

 

You should just go home and come back in the morning. You aren't getting vr or prop so why wait all night?
