Bourbon County 2017

I was at Orland Binny's around 7-7:30 last year and got a full allotment. Can't speak for any other locations.

 

I drove by on the way back from the city to the burbs. Lots of tents. Kind of confused where the line starts and goes. There are people out behind the building on Kingsbury, but I think it’s going up Marcey, turns on Wisconsin, then turns on Kingsbury? All I know is my wife said “who are these crazy f*ckers”, and she doesn’t curse much - and I had to say “remember, that was me last year”

 

They're short on bcbcs vintage and barleywine. They we're kind of screwed on expanding vintage, that's why the allotment is what it is. Increases across the board on this years variants though.

 

I was there in 2014. Got there around 6:00am day of. Literally didnt advance in line for three hours. Froze my ass off. Walked away almost six hours later with a vr, prop, 4x reg and a couple bw. Probably the stupidest thing I’ve ever done for beer.

Ive been asked 3 times where the end of the line is. At this point I'm not so sure I even know anymore

 

Does the line really move that slow? They opened at 9 AM and you got out of there are noon?

 

Oh and then it turned on Willow. So count me super confused. Maybe it’s an infinite loop and all the people in line now will get Bourbon County forever but those of us who are trying to sleep will never get it again...

 

That sounds about right for people in the back portion of the line.

 

This will be my first time going to the Binny’s LP release.

1. Do they take credit card or is it cash only?
2. Do they have porta potties?
3. Do they make any attempt to enforce their no drinking in line policy?

I’m actually surprised the line is building this heavily, this early. I figured with the Early Jewel release that everyone would try to double dip.

 

So any updates on what this is looking like? As dawn approaches, intel on the exact or best guess on the location of the end of the line would be greatly appreciated.

 

I just drove over there. The line now circles the entire block.
