    I think HP only had 2 cases of Prop. Son and I were 20 and 21. Pretty sure the guys right behind us didn't get Prop but hope I'm wrong

    More than that. I am 200 behind #1000, and there are a good 300+ behind me.

    Line is insanely slow this year.

    I tend to fall into this camp as well. My wife brought my mother-in-law since I need to work (cause this stuff ain't cheap now, kids) and we got 8 Reg, 2 BW, 2 Reserve and 2 Northwoods. And I'm perfectly content with that. I'll see if I can get a bottle of Prop via the trades, but stout season is too bountiful to sweat this anymore.

    If the seller never did it in the first place i.e., have his underage son get a ticket, there would be no buyer though. Greed, plain & simple.

    Last year they still had full allotments for people after all the tickets.

    I can’t believe they’ve got another 500 full allotments. That’s 625 cases of regular.

    couldn't agree more, it's an embarrassment of riches around Chicago. so many great BA stouts, Barleywines & flavored/adjust stouts of comparable (or greater IMO ) quality that are available with less effort. I still went out to get reg & bw, but I'm personally done chasing bottles of variants

    I agree. They could have 200 more... maybe.

    I think like 1300+ got beer last year.

    Would be nice if the other binny's in the city would just let folks know how many cases of variants they have so folks are not waiting over an hour for just BW and regular. Grand seemed to have like 5 cases tops it seemed like. Prop ran out just in front of me. thanks, line cutters!

    From the people I talked to at (non-LP) Binnys people were very up front about not getting a very big supply of the variants this year. The increased allotments at LP directly affected the supply at non-LP Binnys' stores.

    Yeah I was pretty disappointed with Grand. I feel like I was roughly same spot in line as last year. By the time I got through, they were down to Regular and BW. I say it every year - but I might not go through the pain again next year!
