Shoot, just this month we've had the Deth series, Imperial Pajamas, Bourbon County and Smells Like Bean Spirit. Not to mention the other smaller brewpubs having their imperial stout releases in the next few weeks. So just in case anyone reading this is feeling bummed about missing out, take some solace and now this is only just the beginning.

Just gonna leave this here as a reminder that barrel aged beer shouldn't be aged, stored or shipped warm.

If you age this stuff you should be prepared for things to turn south, and be ready to accept partial blame.

LP Binny's line situation as of 11:30a. Fucking insane.

Not when the bottle itself says you can age it for 5 years, that's a faulty bottle

    Lololol ok.
The printing on the label somehow deters the growth and fermentation of bacteria imparted by the barrels.

You're the perfect customer for ABI's marketing machine.

I spoke to two employees each at two different meijers and they all read me parts of an internal memo. I specifically remember calling rolling Meadows, but they told me they were still waiting on their shipment to arrive, which was supposed to be at 10 and that was at 10:45 when I spoke to them.

That awkward moment when someone doesn’t know how pasteurization works.

Is this like Binny's LP except with only about 4-5 songs on it?

Sorry, that was a horrible joke that maybe only a few music peeps would get.

They've had issues before and after they started pasteurization. Here's evidence of more.

Btw - Binny's is charging at least $1 extra per bottle versus other stores (Walgreens, local liquor stores). At least on Regular and Coffee from my receipts.

It's a convenience charge for loitering on their property for 10 hours

You can be a sarcastic beer snob all you want, all I pointed out was if the label says you can age it then the bottle shouldn't be bursting like that. If that doesn't make sense to you then move on.

The bottle shouldn't be bursting no matter what the label says, my dude.

It's marketing fluff. It's in no way a guarantee that the beers won't spoil within those 5 years.

And that's why I made this post. Too many breweries like this are perpetuating misinformation and promoting incorrect beer cellaring culture.

They switched to 1 Prop per person at my number 1,001. Not much Northwoods or Prop left I heard
