I'm surprised to hear you say that. Granted, I'd probably had a beer or three too many at the time, but when I stopped by the brewery a week or so ago, I thought the two vintages were pretty distinct (Upright had both the 16 and 17 on tap). Both had plenty of fruit, but the 16 seemed to have considerably more of a "sour funk" flavor to it. Both were very good beers, don't get me wrong, but I did think they were pretty different (I assumed from the additional year of age on the 16).

been my experience with Fantasia that it gets considerably more sour/funky with age.

Is there a way to tell what year an older bottle is from??

The label on the back should show the vintage. And the vintage is always the year before it's released.

No year anywhere on back label. Bottle has white wax.

The front label has a peach tree and a girl eating a peach.

Must be at least 2014 vintage or older. My oldest bottle is 2015 and that has the current front label and vintage on the back label.
