heading to portland on thursday. what are the lines like for cans on a typical thursday release? id like to get my hands on some swish but my wife is line-adverse.

 

Swish will almost certainly be gone. Assuming it is.. they'll be no line after ~12:30 Thursday. Things have been pretty mellow on non-swish days. If they're any rollover-which I highly doubt-all bets are off.

 

so realistically what time would I need to get there to have a shot at some?

 

Assuming you mean swish? If so, sometime Wednesday. This is the first Wednesday Swish release this year so hard to know when you'd need to show up to be honest.. close to 11am open to be safe. Thursday you have little to no shot at swish. Hope this helps!

 

Wife will be heading up to Portland with some friends next week or so, will it be easy for her to swing in and grab some cans on a Friday around ~3 pm? And/or are there cans left over on Sundays that she could swing in on the way to the airport for pickup? I know this is all dependable on weather, etc. but just wanted to see for a normal weekend (it will be Friday the 8th-10th). Thanks

 

Friday at 3 is 90% shot at substance (maybe more) with no line. Sunday is maybe 50% chance of Reciprocal right at open (noon).

do substance cans, especially on what seems like a substance-only day on friday, 12/8, ever last til 6-7 PM? Might be in Portland that evening and not positive I can stick around for the 11a.m. opening on Saturday.

 

Fuuuuck, Angels With Filthy Souls on 12/23? I really want to pick that up but i'll have to be down in RI with family that day.

 

When is Thursday's release @mike_v_sardina ? It would be great if this could be more clear on release schedules, going forward. Thanks!!

 

This Thursday's release for Nuclear Whim with the Fuse of Mile will be at noon, but we're planning to run six registers, all out of the front of the building...

Thanks for the note about the clarity on the schedule -- we do our best to try to communicate that, keeping in mind that we adjust and shift as needed in order to try to provide the best experience for all...
