I spoke directly to the beer guy who lied to my face. You’re the one that posted here that they were selling coffee. Why lie? How hard is it to say, sorry we sold out? Calling the store overpriced is not slandering them, it’s a fact.

 

Lots of weekly deals on sierra nevada, Brooklyn, lagunitas, stone Sixers at 9.99-10.99 even harpoon at 7.99... Is that overpriced for hells kitchen... When 6 packs of Sam adams are being sold at 14.99 at Duane reads

Every whole foods in ny received 100 cases allocated

 

Thanks for the advice. Turned out the Whole Foods in Bedford ave had plenty as well.

 

Whole Foods Bowery has about 20 cases of Regular, and like 3 bottles of BW.

 

Lizard of Koz is the reason I'm not sweating missing out on northwoods. It was a downright struggle finishing that bomber.

 

Looks like Carmine St Beer will be tapping a keg of Northwoods at 3:30 today.

 

Any places still carrying Coffee? Not thrilled that this was all dropped during Thanksgiving week.

 

My god someone bought it. $100+ and sitting on a hot shelf for a year doesn’t even stop you savages.

 

Do we know if the six places in NYC that got kegs are full kegs or sixtels? Trying to gauge whether I will make it if I arrive in an hour

update since i can't figure out how to edit the prior post.

-only 6 kegs of Northwoods hit the boros. (Top Hops, Dive Bar, Astoria Bier and Cheese, (aded 11/27-- Carmine St Beer, Arts and Crafts Beer Parlor to be tapped 11/29),

not sure where the one other is... also, the 6 number was discussed by two diff bar owners/buyers.

 

I’m not feeling great today so I decided to pass at $14 a glass. Might go tomorrow if it’s still on.
