Sorry for my delay. Just wanted to circle back! We're planning to offer the capability for current 2017 Reserve and Hoarders Society members to send 2017 allocated purchases to DC for pickup during a specified pickup window in early 2018 if they are members of our 2018 Reserve or Hoarders Society with the DC fulfillment option.

We plan to have information about this in our next all member email.

IMO, wait until after exams (or dissertation if you are going after that level of education) and then dome it to help destroy brain cells, at least for the night, so that you can relax and forget about all of the work you have done to further your education.

Was at the OG * terreux tasting rooms on black friday. Grabbed a bunch of shirts for myself and the wife. They were $5-10 each, dirt cheap.

    My favorites were -

Black Tuesday '17. I'm going to say it's better fresh than '16. Beyond that I don't remember . Smooth, and should age beautifully.
Port BT '14 was good, but pretty sweet (no surprise)
Marzipandemonium, definitely very enjoyable with the vanilla & almond. Of course, Grey Monday was nice as well.

The Wanderer is my favorite sour of the day, very delicious.

Ngongo . Was a no go for me, though I don't care for that style in general. My friend really enjoyed it though.

I've given it many opportunities over the years but I do not like Grey Monday at all. Had it last week at the tasting room and confirmed that again. Marzipandemonium was by far the best beer that I had. The Salted Cashew Caramel BT at the Terreux tasting room was a close second though.

Email just went out for refunds for those who bought Rest. It has lacto souring it even though they flash pasteurized it. I had it on draft and enjoyed it but have not opened my bottle yet.

When I tried a bottle a week or so ago, I chalked up the off flavoring to the red wine aging. I guess I have an email to send.

If you bought them through Bruerystore.com you should be getting an email... Only other place to buy them was Urge.

Yeah, I bought through my allocation... Maybe not all purchases effected? @BruerJoel

Really wish I hadn't paid to send 4 bottles of Rest to my trustee to then forward to me. I appreciate the refund, but I'm still going to end up spending quite a bit of money to get these bottles to my house.

We sent the email to everyone who purchased Rest from us. If you purchased Rest and didn't get the email, you are certainly eligible for what we are doing. Essentially, if you have any unopened bottles of Rest, just let us know. We’ll give you a full refund for any of the remaining bottles you purchased from us. Similarly, if you have any bottles yet to pick up, we have proactively issued you a refund. In addition, if you previously opened a bottle of Rest that you purchased from us and experienced off-flavors, let us know so we can issue you a refund for that as well.

We stand behind our products' quality and want to make it right by you!

Sorry to hear about the shipping troubles! You don't need to ship them back / return them to us - honor system works ;-)

When was the email sent? I didn't buy any personally, my shared Society partner bought all 12 though and we later split them. We've maybe opened one each.

Sucks to hear, it was very tasty, but I appreciate as always the heads up and effort to make it right.

We sent the email at 1:00 p.m. PT on Tuesday. If you (he) didn't get the email, drop me a line so I can look into it!

Reading the description for Yount that was recently posted on facebook had me getting super excited and anxious to buy it...

Until I got to the part where I read it was aged in new french oak puncheons. Heres to hoping it doesnt have any of that toothpick french oak character that dominated wineification 3.

This might be a stupid question, but is Yount carbonated?

    BruerJoel Initiate (0) Sep 4, 2015 California

It is not carbonated - we packaged it still.

Another Yount question - was it all fermented with beer yeast? Any wine yeast?
