Sierra Nevada Bigfoot, Brooklyn's Monster, Flying Mouflan I still classify as a Barleywine, Old Ruffian from Great Divide, Most of the JW Lee's cover the delicious english barleywine style.
Those of course are when they're in season, For year round barleywine? I'm blanking hard.

You shouldn't have any issues tracking down any of those I listed except maybe JW Lee's, I tried to keep that bad boy to fairly mass produced goodness. Monster especially, I see that stuff everywhere.

Def agree with Onizilla w/ Flying Mouflan---Alesmith Old Numbskull is good too as noted. Solstice D'hiver by Dieu De Ciel is around too--I'm always willing to try their stuff but its pricey and I'm never really able to stomach the price with them to make them a go-to beer. Give Weyerbacher Blithering Idiot a try. It's worth a shot--some love it, some really detest it since I guess it violates some of the rules of traditional barley wines. Weyerbacher is good for that kind of stuff.

Thanks. It's amazing that I searched all over for the "next great" IPA and I ended up liking one made in NY this much. Not that I wouldn't want to live in Vermont some time to be able to get Heady or have access to Pliny but I feel we are very lucky to have Flower Power so available.

I was in Vermont for a weeding and was in search of Heady Topper, but failed where it was available. got to the wedding and two cans are on ice and no one wants them, only the PBR haha scooped those up Fast and threw them in the car.

I have a negative view of Harpoon for some reason but I've heard they have some solid (less mass-produced) stuff. Happy to hear. It might be time to seek them out.

Their 6 pack of Chocolate Stout that just released is pretty solid I'd say, It tastes like a nice bitter dark chocolate. Also I thought Middle Ages was draft only?
[edit]scratch that, Middle Ages is in 22oz bottles. Back to the dark corners with me![/edit]

How about Backburner from Southern Tier, Old Horizontal from Victory, Old Guardian from Stone and a newer one Griffin's Bow from Sam Adams. I just picked up Schlafly Reserve-barelywine-style ale 2008 looking forward to that during the football game today.

Flying Mouflan is great fresh but I think its at its best between 1 and 2 years old. Get a few when it comes out, you wont be disappointed.
