It was also on tap at Prop Day at the mystery pour station. Other than that and fobab I'm not sure it's been tapped any where else. Probably will show up on tap at their taprooms at some random time. That beer is unreal.

Double Barrel was basically a small experiment in the neighborhood of 6 casks. It's draft only...it hit FOBAB and Fulton St. (not on BF) so far that I have heard about. I asked if they would have it again at Fulton as I missed it the first time and was told probably not. I'd sure like to know where the other 1/6 barrels are going. Somebody somewhere said it should be called "Blackout Juice" since it's over 17%. So yeah, I'd like to try it.

For some reason I have "6 kegs" stuck in my head, but not sure where the hell I saw it or of I'm just making things up.

They definitely had it at Fulton, the day after FoBAB.

I can confirm this is accurate. In my sample size of two, it has 100% success.

They also announced reserve was Illinois and Kentucky only, anyone have any idea why they shipped it to a lot of other states? Just curious.

My understanding is to make up for the 25th Anniversary BW not making it out this year.

Is there a new baseline for draft prices on these? A few bars that always used to be around $1 an oz on variants have gone way up. Wondering if they just know they can charge more and are doing so, or if prices from distributor has also gone up.

Yeah, I saw DB pop up at the taproom, but snoozed on it. Figures; it was the one I wanted to try most.

A fellow craft beer connoisseur made reference to the same idea to me at a Black Friday event.

Yeah keg prices must be insane this year. I went to a bar on Black Friday and without looking ordered a Prop. Guy hands me a 9oz snifter and says "$16". I check the menu and every BCBS variant is $16 and regular is $14. So expect to may more for it on tap because I've seen similar prices on Beer Menus.

Draft has been a little bit of a steal since the move to 16.9oz bottles. Once some of the variants hit $20+ at the low end (Jewel, Binny's), it was just as good of a deal -- if not better -- on tap. Was wondering when that gap would close...

Eh, when you consider the bottle cost, $16 for 9oz of Prop seems reasonable.

Sure but I've never seen prices for BCBS like this on tap across the board.

Fair point. Regular for $14 definitely feels high to me.

Feel like you guys are probably getting gouged by the bars. Bloomington-Normal has the same distributor as Chicago (so, I would assume the same or similar pricing aside from taxes, which...I know you guys pay out the nose on so....) and we had a bar in town selling 10oz pours of Reserve for $5.
