Lost IPA by Burley Oak. Really nice IPA from a brewery I'm not too familiar with. Nothing really stands out, just a real easy, solid, drinker.

Totally impressed that in a rural province with a government liquor monopoly, we are getting product canned barely a week ago in a different city. Cheers to freshness.

    Mother Earth Silent Night
Coffee Stout aged in bourbon barrels

Strong coffee and malt smell. Mild vanilla and bourbon.
Tastes of chocolate, coffee, roasted malt, and mild bourbon.
Glad I got a chance to pick one of these up.
    Cheers!

[IMG]Wunderkind IPA from Garvies Point Craft Brewery??? Yo, that's like right here, BA... Canned 11/22 and featuring Citra and Mosaic hops... I've said it before, BA: That's almost like cheating - I mean, how can you go wrong? (they don't)...

Very light and juicy at the same time... Brilliant fruit impressions both tropical and orchard, with a sweet underbelly and a mild bitterness... Smooth and soft, ridiculously drinkable... Sugars outweigh the bitterness, but that's not (necessarily) a complaint... As my third beer tonight, I'll consider it my beer fruit IPA dessert...

    Cheers...

Will do my friend. Pulling exercises are on the list (pullups, shrugs, deadlifts). Deadlifts were my forte back in the day. 480 was my personal best. I do rack deadlifts now (basically just knee high deadlifts). Hit 185 for 12 reps. Goal is to get to 200 for 12 reps.

Not my fav either, and I agree it was solid. I had on my shopping list to buy more, but I got another 4 pk of Backwoods Bastard instead. So many good beers out right now...

#4 tonight. Bells Two Hearted. The more I drink this the more I like it. Well balanced. True interpretation of American IPA.[IMG]

OK, my bad. Just realized that earlier I posted new beers to WBAYDN instead of the beer haul thread. And nobody questioned whether I drank two crowlers! Maybe to make up for it, I'll drink them both after this...

Yeah it's not the best, but it's solid and affordable. I only bought a single and honestly there are better, I'll buy it again it was cheap and there aren't many BA stouts at this price point.

Very nice! I love rack pulls. I did deadlifts today. 205 for 10 reps supersetted with 10 reps on the leg curl machine. Threw in some sumos and goodmornings too!

Very impressive. I know I am preaching to the choir in that you need to keep good form. Lower back hates bad form.

Had a couple tonight, but what variety. Started with a berliner weissbier, then went to an all-malt lager.

    First there was Nice Melons...

Then, as promised, Michelob Celebrate Vanilla Oak. Cellared since 2005. Since there didn't seem to be a good reason to hold on to it any more, I opened it and shared it with my wife. It was OK, held up to 12 years well, BUT... wasn't that great. Going to be an interesting review when I get around to it. At least this one was in a normal bottle, not a bullet-shaped one that the cherry lager (2007) was in.
