DC/MD/NoVA Beer Updates (2017)

I was referring to CBS. If something is super rare and limited and I want it, I usually don't post about it until after I've gotten one of it for myself.

Not saying CBS is super rare this year or even that I myself want it, but anyway....call around. It seems that tomorrow is the day a number of places are getting it in limited quantities.

 

Oh okay. Good tactic, didn't really think about it that way. Will def. be calling around for it. Sounds like there's few places that are getting them tomorrow already.

 

Norms just posted having some.

 

I feel like Goose Island did this last year where it came in waves and trickled in the second week of release. I think TW Springfield might have some left, not sure any other locations though.

 

I was just at WF Springfield and they still have regular as well.

For anyone looking for CBS in DC proper the early returns seem to be a bit sparse, but this also seems much different than a BCBS release so I would expect it to start popping up over the next week which may lead to some frustration for people expecting it today. The only places I have definitively heard having it are CBC on H Street and Calvert Woodley. Others I've contacted:
WF P Street-don't have and seemed to believe not getting it
WF Foggy-no one answering their phones
WF Tenley-expects it later today but none there currently
Connecticut Ave-expect it in next week
Glen's Garden Market-not sure

 

Total Wine Springfield has CBS 1 per.. Not sure about any of the other Total Wines, as I only wanted one bottle.

Norm's is also getting it.

 

Total Wine McLean has CBS in. 1 per. It looks like most, if not all, the TWs got it in. The guy at the register said they got a lot and they expect it to last at least until tomorrow.

 

Seems like DC needs to drink more All Day.

Arlington Mom's has an undetermined amt of bottles, 1 pp

No info on: Metro Wine & Spirits Admo, Harry's Navy Yard, Eye St. Cellars, D'Vines.
