Pizza Boy Brewing

Anyone know the next beers to be canned? It appears it's about 3 different beers canned every two weeks or so.

 

I wasn't super crazy about the Mosaic. Dub 56 was pretty smooth for me. I enjoyed it.

 

All of this non love for HV Mosaic is just fine by me...

 

The haze is real? Pizza Boy / East End Collab - Pennsylvania Handshake - “Milkshake IPA” made with lactose sugar, nectarines, apricots and peaches.

Looks like this was brewed at East End. One Instagram comment stated that Pizza Boy isn't doing crowlers since it was not brewed on premise. Can't confirm.

 

Do they also have this at East End Brewing? Why don't they have Pizza Boy there all the time? Or do they, hell I don't know I haven't been there in awhile.

 

It was brewed at East End as far as I can tell. Also, it is tasty.

 

Pizza Boy really needs to do a better job of promoting what cans they have available. I was waiting for Dough Boy...saw the Instagram post that it was delayed...then saw the post that it wasn't hazy...nothing about if cans were available. Came here to find out they've been available for over a week.

As for the haze/no haze, the pics on Untappd are all over the map. I did see one where the person poured the last bit separately into different glass. It seems these cans need to be shaken vigorously.

 

Anyone know if new cans are coming soon?

 

Yes, next week. Possibly another the second week of December as well.

 

When will then be now?

Not me. Just got a mixed case of LegenDAIRY Pumpkin, Murren River, and Trung Latte yesterday. I told my wife I was good for a while now . . .

What do you mean? That tomorrow's batch of cans will be the last?

 

Ouch. I should have been more clear, sorry. Last batch until Spring, at Breski. Though I imagine with the relationship they have with South County, that likely means anywhere. Or are you saying they're canning it again tomorrow?

 

Yes, new cans at the brewery tomorrow (along with Simcoe/El Dorado Intervals, Liminal Moment and Strawberry/Raspberry Gelato). Not sure if Cosmic will see distro.

For what it's worth, many of the Intervals are just as good or better than Cosmic Nod (which makes sense since Cosmic Nod was Intervals Galaxy). The Citra/Mosaic one is amazing. I think they are supposed to can it at some point.

 

Is it possible those cans already snuck out then? I bought some about 90 minutes ago, both Nod and Intervals (El Dorado/Simcoe) and they were canned on 11/28/17. So, you know, they're old already, and stuff.

I'm really convinced that the only good reason for social media is craft beer updates.

Would love to have another Gelato series. Had one on tap (was it the Pina Colada?) and it was really delicious, but 8-12 oz is enough. Pretty sweet.
