Sounds like a bunch of their stuff will be at As Is and The Well tomorrow, I'm just gonna hit up one of those.

I got tickets a while back an am a little worried it might turn into a shit show, I hope everyone brings enough beer. And now I see the same brewers will have most of their beers on tap for events all over the city so I wonder why even have the fest?

Also looks like a lot of this will be on at Torst this weekend as well.

Yeah, Torst's is doing events all weekend and Monday, The Well on Saturday and both Gold Star and As Is on Friday. I feel a little better about the price now I guess.

Both of these are reasons I've never hit any of the food festivals in NYC. Many (but not all) have crazy long lines and/or food shortages, and as a resident I can take my time and hit each vendor individually (not always the case, but often). I guess I can see how these brews not normally available in NYC would draw a crowd though. Hope it works for ya though!

    No they are not.

If it makes you feel like it will be less docuhey than what you've already predecided, it was scheduled to be in Brooklyn until a week ago.

I'm going and am looking forward to it. Although I trade here and there in person, I haven't gotten into shipping yet so a lot of the breweries I have only heard about and am excited to finally try. Sure they'll be on tap around the city here and there but I imagine that would end up being crowded as well and more expensive than the fest.

Also, supposedly each session is capped at 300 people and with over 20 breweries pouring I am hoping that it isn't too crazy.

It was capped at 300 until they cancelled the 3rd session, so it should be more crowded. They said they're extending the event an extra half hour but that wont matter much if they run out of beer. I'm not too optimistic but we shall see...

With admission do you get unlimited pours for that price? I've never done a food/beer festival of any type and their website isn't too specific, so I have no idea what the format would be.

Interesting, the event website still says 300 people and has been updated to reflect the 2 sessions and new location. Haven't been to a beer fest in quite some time but thought this one seemed different from some of the others. I AM optimistic, but agree we shall see.

"On December 3rd, at 775 Washington Street in Manhattan, New York, we’ll be hosting Juicy Brews NYC. Two sessions. 300 people per session. 23 breweries."

Have tickets to Juicy Brews. I suspect they reduced the # of sessions from 3 to 2 due to the 3rd not selling well. So even if those ticket holders are moved to the other sessions I don't expect it to be a complete madhouse considering there are 20+ breweries there (23 to be exact). Unlimited pours over the course of 3 hours also food included in the ticket price. Great opportunity to try beers from some reputable breweries that aren't in our area and bunch of locals that I haven't had yet.

Is there going to be a hazebois or linelyfe VIP tent at the juicy brews fest?

The last fest I went to was CBC Boston and most brewers ran out of beer halfway though the event, so I'm hoping these guys planned a little better.
Where did it mentions food included, I doubt that is the case.

Maybe someone could start a separate thread since OH aren’t going to be there and the last page of posts about the event has gotten in the way of the usual limits debate

Just to bring it back... I bet everybody going will be some out of towner that's going to get wrecked at this fest then commit debauchery across the city on their way back home via bridge or tunnel.

Cracked a can of DDH AGE from October and man there is a lot of sediment at the bottom of the can, Other Half is usually good with this. Also is it sacrilege to drink OH beers from my Treehouse Teku instead of one of my goofy OH tekus?
