I’m in Yardley, PA and it seems like there’s only two stores 12 miles from me selling 12 bottles at 10am this morning then three bars (only one in Philly) having it on draft today, tomorrow and Sunday, respectively. Wondering if I’m missing any other releases or events?

Wegmans Collegeville apparently had quite a few cases this morning at opening (7 AM). Not sure if there are any left by now.

Thanks! Wonder if other Wegmans were having as many also? Wish there was a way to find online instead of having to call them all. Collegeville is a hike for me.

Giant New Hope had about 8-9 bottles on the counter about 30 minutes ago.

Apparently a lot of the grocery stores that sell beer got it in, but sold it out pretty quickly when they opened this morning it sounds like.

I'm a little surprised there are only 3 events announced this weekend, but I'm expecting many more bars got some and we will be seeing CBS events cropping up here and there. Many are likely holding onto it for Philly Beer Week.

The Boathouse in Conshy tweeted at open that they had it on tap. I think many places are keeping it a bit on the DL.

The beer distributor in Ambler, PA (Ambler Beverage Exchange) still had some bottles left within the past few hours. Nearby Flourtown Beverage did as well, and the owner was surprised how few had been picked up, so far.

Collegeville will be sold out by now. They were down to 1.5 cases by 8am.

Yeah, this isn't like the Pliny the Younger kegs that need to be tapped right away.

For a bottle? How big is the bottle?

If MSRP is $24 for this then selling it for $25.49 is awesome. Plenty of places will be asking for $30-35. Thanks to Wegmans for not overcharging.

I talked with the beer guys at Wegman's KOP. They said they received 8 cases and sound out in an hour and a half.

Yeah I picked up 2 around 8am and then I was there for lunch and they said it was all gone. I don't think there was much left after me this morning.

The places I described were selling it for around $40. It sounds like the various supermarkets are sticking closer to the $25 price tag suggested by the brewery, but I suspect places like that are all sold out by now.

I just got back from visiting the Boathouse (Conshohocken). I walked in, got a seat at the bar, and ordered a glass of CBS: 8 bucks for a 8 ounce pour. No fuss and relatively speaking an inexpensive price. I enjoyed drinking the beer but I enjoyed even more not having to go through a lot of hoopla just to order and drink a beer.

I will not be attending the Capone's event tomorrow. Not worth the hassle and the price.

    Cheers!

Stumbled upon a bottle yesterday at a local craft beer bar/bottle shop in the West Reading area. Really great price, too; $21/750 ml. The Beer Mart in Reading is releasing bottles tomorrow at 3:00 pm if anyone is still looking.
