I always try to have 2 glasses. I have a 3 Floyd's Teku glass and a Perfect Pint glass. I find both to be fantastic drinking vessels. I'm really not a glass snob by any means though. Also a tip to people who are looking for the perfect glass: a lot of eating and drinking establishments will let you keep glasses if you ask nice. I have 2 perfect pint glasses from a place that has a lobster as their logo. Just ask, it never hurts.

That is reallya bad ass glass, love it. I have a 1/2 yard glass, but would love to have a little one. Where might one acquire one?

I usually use tulips or snifters for all of my beer regardless of styles.

I think this is the one I use almost all the time. I mainly drink barleywines, DIPAs and sours.

I pretty much use the Lost Abbey Teku glass for everything. It was a great investment.

A standard American pint and a good snifter should cover almost all styles worth drinking. Wouldn't hurt to grab a tulip too, in case one of the others is in the dishwasher when you want to have a beer.

I have this. Received it as a gift. Really like the craft pint, use it all the time, and used the tulip a lot until it was knocked off the coffee table and broke. The weizen glass is also nice to have as I didn't have anything like it before. The 'stout' glass, which I'm guessing is supposed to be a snifter, really is no such thing and is jus like one of the Stella Artois glasses thats kind of like a hybrid glass. Quality as a whole is descent, but the bigger ones (British pint, Wiezen, pilsner) seem a little light/ fragile.

Why is the etching a problem? I use my Duvel for almost every beer.

The main problem is volume. The best ones Ive found are my New Belgium snifter and Duvel tulip. my other snifter arent big enough to hold a 12 oz bottle plus head. I mean theres that Stella overside snifter with a stem, but I keep that hidden in the back of my cupboard.

And if the beer is worth drinking it is worth drinking out of something other than a standard pint glass. The shaker pint is just about the worst thing you can drink beer from. If it works for you than roll with it but if you are concerned about the best type of glass the shaker pint should not be included.

I usually use my regular ol' sized Duvel tulip for most beers. If I'm drinking something like Moon Man, Two Hearted, etc I'll use one of the many Lakefront glasses I have. Hefes/weizenbocks/etc go into my Aventinus glass. Also have an oversized snifter (I think a Christian Brothers one that was a dollar) that I use for bombers and such.
