Iron tap in waconia is releasing it on wednesday, great little bbq joint too

 

Had a couple glasses and got crowlers last night (Modist maker). Thought it excellent.

 

I can't go to it, but a general question: what is the parking like in the area? Are there pay lots or ramps near by?

Target downtown has their CBS, but said they aren't selling it until sometime later today (didn't know when). Haskell's apparently hasn't received their shipment yet, but they said they should and plan on selling it around 1:00 if they get it this morning.

 

Those looking for a highway robbery in the south metro can get a CBS at MGM Burnsville for a $35.99. (I, for one, walked out with mouth agape)

 

There are surface lots next to the Freehouse off Washington, it's only a few blocks away from there. Otherwise, you may be able to find street parking on 2nd St. 3rd St, or 5th or 6th ave. this time of day. Street or lot, you'll be able to find parking easily. The same probably holds true for Friday-Saturday nights as well.

 

I need to pull the trigger on a Modist Maker membership. Seems like a great deal given it doesn't cost you anything extra in the long run.

TW Bloomington still does not have CBS but sounds like after 2pm is a safe bet based on the info I was given.

 

Not anymore...surface lot is now a big hole in the ground. Parking around that area has been terrible recently, at least during the day.

 

Not sure if the deal has changed any, but I basically go a bunch of merch (shirt, glass, crowlers cozy, free crowler coupon and an extra 10% in Modist bucks - $250 u get 275 and so on). It's been worthwhile for me.

 

If you're willing to walk half a mile to get to Modist, there's often unmetered street parking available on N 4th Ave. between N 1st St. And W River Pkwy. or a nearby free public parking lot off W River Pkwy. I believe that all of the free parking lots within a couple of blocks of Modist are private lots for customers of adjacent businesses only (i.e., not Modist).

 

I would honestly recommend anyone looking for cbs to go to their nearest stores and ask if they have it. I grabbed 2 bottles in 15 minutes doing it this way instead of hunting.

 

I stand corrected. I forgot that lot was closed now too. Certainly makes it a headache for close parking then.

 

Has anyone tried this year's CBS? I have a feeling it'll be a let down like other most recent Founders vintages

 

TW MG finally has CBS.
