i am still curious about our reviews/beer karma etc, has this been addressed?

I do like how the avatars are bigger now. Some of those old ones were really hard to see.

 

Pretty easy to upload an avatar. I'll get something beer-related, rather than what helps me work up a thirst.

 

Crosses fingers avatars will default back to 75x75 pixels.

 

does anybody know if the forum point system is going to be completely separate from the BA point system for reviews and such? or are those gonna be merged at some point?

Server upgrade is nice and all. Smilies aren't. Loads of white space is meh. Huge avatars... meh. Personally I liked the look and feel of the old forums, but whatever.

I dislike not only the appearance, but much of the functionality of the new forums. I thought I made that clear, and Todd has seemed to indicate that much of that functionality will be retained, which is why I quoted the "modern forum" phrase.

This forum is definitely less hoppy than the last one. Excited to see all the new changes!
