    No, Food Emporium only charged me $35. and because i figured all the WF would be sold out by the time i got there, so since i was at the Columbus Circle area already... poor choice on my part...

    Just left WF 3rd ave in BK for non beer related reasons (even though I did walk out with BCBS.) Saw they still had about 8 cases of CBS stacked next to the growler station.

    Ditto - they have a stockpile . Hope it was worth it for the people cleaning out places in manhattan / paying 35 yesterday

    Yeah got the last two bottles near my house in Queens and two more at WF without much effort or overpaying.
    With these big releases it’s easier to not overpay due to fomo

    Driving around lower-mid Hudson valley today seeing case upon case, no limits, numerous stores. There must have made a crapload.

    I've been lucky enough to get some of each of the previous CBS releases. The last keg release they did (2015?) struck me as kind of sweet...too sweet. Anyone open a bottle yet and care to share their thoughts?

    After Maple Creamies, nothing else tastes as sweet!

    I thought CBS was fine though not worth the pricetag. It's pretty good but I think a half shot of maple syrup in a bottle of KBS is pretty similar.

    I'd imagine this is likely another case of a beer that used to be great still being good, but shines a bit less in a more competitive world.

    Not that there's any chance some is left at even one of those 15 places by now, but would you mind sharing the names of the stores that had it? Especially if in Suffolk. Thanks.
