    First beer of the evening. Work was super busy today, especially with the CBS release. I wanted something light, tart, and refreshing first, so I went with Prophets & Nomads, a gose from Collective Arts Brewing.

    It was a God Send to me first 5 years I lived in Oklahoma, beer selection left the rest of the 4- state area in the dust. Not really the case as much any more...

    Des Moines is actually a nice area when one gets used to being away from the east coast. I grew up on Long Island. Our son lived in Des Moines for a few years and I thought the area was pretty decent !

    I’ve rated nearly 100 wild ales. I would consider this an introduction to wild ales. It’s pretty tame in all aspects and isn’t very tart. Highly overrated if you drink a fair share of this style:
