They posted numbers on IG yesterday:

160 cases regular (limit 4pp)
100 cases vanilla (4pp)
90 cases BA (4pp)

FWIW they had 145 cases of Benthic (limit 3pp) which lasted well through the line until about 4pm.

is it crazy there? I wanted togo to rocks and get a prip 17 but it kicked and then walk over and buy a 4 pack of vanilla and ba. so just going to HA now.

 

Line isn't too bad but you may be pressed for vanilla if everyone takes full allot. Sounds like most arnt but I can only speak for the folks around us

Beer Cellar has a party Wednesday night with BA and Vanilla pouring

 

there are weird variants here that look like didnt get released in bottles or cans. I am at balmoral now. didnt go get bottles..stipid motorcycle stampede made it so hard to get to lincoln

does vanilla see distro?

They’re wording was “bottles of a variant” to go. I’m reading between the lines and thinking there will be a small amounting vanilla but that’s a guess

Gotta say, as much of a grammar **** as I am in my head, I refuse to correct people on a forum where half of us are probably drunk at any given time.

It's interesting how (comparatively) little vanilla they're still doing. Personally I'd love to see them scrap regular BH and just make Vanilla the default. THAT is a beer I'd consider worthy of the release party.

 

honestly the maple bourbon ba is the best hug. on draft only. but if someone can confirm for the beer peoples that barrel aged big hugs is still available. ill uber right now from balmoral.

Has anyone else opened their big enchilada box?

I was under the impression both glasses would have similar designs, but maybe I can't read.

 

I left 20 minutes ago and it was still there, no real line either

 

Also, this year's barrel aged is definitely an improvement from last year, moving more toward what I imagine the base of benthic is with just coffee. Vanilla is a little too much vanilla for me, regular is solid as always.

 

At Lincoln right now and still plenty of regular, ba, vanilla and fluorescent IPA. No real line either (it’s contained within the shop)

Just came from balmoral and they had all the BH variants as well as cinnamon vanilla Bh and maple bba. Not crazy over there either.

Props to HA on a smooth release!

 

Half acre killed it again today...great job moving the line and amazing taps once inside the building (side project/perennial). Also, as if they couldn't be more amazing, as I was leaving they decided to throw a free 2016 vanilla big hugs in my box....keep killing it Half Acre!
