Thoughts on blonde/golden stouts?

    Its not a stout. Its a flavored blonde ale or cream ale or imperial blonde.

    I know it's a blonde... why I said "stout-like". The coffee/cocoa beans just made it very stout-flavored to me.

    My namesake, Bean Bump, from Noble Ale Works is an imperial version of a "blonde stout." While I wouldnt actually consider these beers stouts, most of the ones Ive samples sure are tasty.
