Wife is traveling to San Jose for work next Tuesday through Friday and offered to make a bit of an effort to track down some Russian River for me. Any of the locals have any advice as to where she could go with the highest probability of finding fresh stock? I checked their website and there appears to be a number of places that get their beer but she's doesn't have time to drive around and hunt. So I'm just looking for a place or two with a high probability of success. Looking for Pliny, Blind Pig, or any of the bottles wild ales. Thanks in advance!
Blind Pig hasn't been distributed in well over a year. Sorry to say, especially since that one tastes better than pliny to me.
RR distro is pretty irregular in San Jose. Try Maplewood Liquors on Thursdays and Santa Clara Liquors (not sure what day). Sometimes Whole Foods, various locations.
