Warning...Really dumb question: If a Huna is brew'd on December 2015, but distributed in March 2016 on Huna Day. Is it considered a 2016 Huna beer?

Trying to figure out which year huna i'm trading for.

Sorry, I meant bottled date of Dec. 2015. So you shouldn't go by the date stamp on the bottle? That seems odd they would bottle 4 months in advance before the event.....Interesting. Thanks

 

While my 2016 bottles align with what you're saying, my 2017 bottles say Feb 2017.

I'm not sure how accurate those bottle dates are--maybe that explains why the 2016 is subpar to some, or maybe those are just the date the Marshal Zhukov was being bottled--but I'd love to know the story behind that.

 

OK good, sounds like the 2016 bottles have 2015 dates on them. I just wanted to confirm I was getting the correct year. Looks like I am.

 

2015 was bottled in February 2015. Has nothing to do with Zhukov bottle dates. Those are always July/September. But everyone goes by release date for the year of Hunahpu. Not sure that it mattered any year besides 2016 anyway though.

Not true by any means. VIP was called for right as Cycle closed but people still got regular tickets who showed much later. Even people after that who stayed in line got sympathy bottles.

People were sold the right to pick up a bottle of Festival Only (FO), even after the festival was sold out, if they waited in line. A very nice consolation that Cycle did not need to do.

 

He's saying that the number of people who lined up immediately following Cycle closing the night before exhausted the allotment of VIP tickets.

Only thing I heard was the one guy complaining after he lost his festival bottle and he got another. Then again just a story I heard. Didn't know others got bottles

 

Then tried to sell that extra bottle on fbook and got called out lol
