TG expanded to Florida already, didn't they? I remember a bunch of talk about Pseudo Sue being different depending on location (not sure if there was any truth to it).

They use Brew Hub in Florida, which is basically just a big contract brewer.

While I haven't had anything from them that's blown me away, I am looking forward to potentially trying out their renown imperial stouts.

Had King Sue at A Tavour Christmas party and it was incredible. DDH Pseudo Sue was also outrageous.

Lagunitas set up shop here, Modern Times is going to be in Portland, etc., so it's not that weird.

I'm not saying it hasn't happened, but it was one of the last ones I thought would be doing something like this.

Wow, this is definitely a pleasant surprise! Topping Goliath is easily considered a Top 10 Brewery in the United States amongst many fans.

Possibly an outlier, but Chucks had to finally pull some old ass Pseudo Sue cans from their coolers a few months back. It sure seemed odd that Pseudo Sue dropped a shipment to Chucks earlier this year. Midwesterners LOVE Topping Goliath, so it was a little surprising to see cans of Pseudo sit and get old throughout the summer. You will NEVER see this happen in the middle part of the country.

Keep your eye on Tavour to experience other excellent Topping Goliath products. World Class beer and hope they open shop in Washington State.

The cans are contract brewed out of florida, and from what i can recall there were quite a few people around who felt it was of much lower quality then what TG actually puts out of their own brewery. That being said, im sure chucks went through quite a bit of it, seemed like it was a pretty big shipment.

I am really interested to see what they have planned for seattle!

When my son lived in Minnesota we took a roadtrip to Decorah a few times. ZeeLander is memorable. I may like it even better than Pseudo-Sue. Excited to see them come to Seattle more so than any moves that have happened lately even by Modern Times and Melvin.

If TG comes to the NW, that will certainly be a game changer for me. King Sue and Pseudo Sue would quickly become part of my regular IPA/DIPA rotation.

Yes you will. I go to Nebraska regularly and see a lot of TG products languish on the shelf and often get price cuts. The smaller run bombers move quickly but the 12 oz 4-packs (not just Pseudo Sue, also Dorothy's Lager, 1492, Rover Truck and Golden Nugget) and sit around turding it up.

This is what i saw after recently being in Minnesota for 2 months. Most of the Pseudo cans were 3-6 months old.

I enjoy Psuedo and especially dry-hopped Pseudo, but King Sue is a miss for me.

Their Xhops bombers have also been enjoyable, so those would be nice. To build off of what @distantmantra said, I think core 12oz 4packs will have difficulty moving. They'd probably see more draft success.

I know Chucks Greenwood had 2 pallets of Pseudo Sue, a ridiculous amount of one beer for a small shop. After a couple weeks they apparently realized they overbought and it was like $8 a 4 pack or something.

I think the other problem with the chucks order is that people talk a stupid amount of shit about the Florida brewed Psuedo Sue. It’s still a perfectly good beer. I buy it when I’m back in Omaha and enjoy it.

Had I known about that, I woulda helped 'em out by buying a case. What can I say, I'm a giver.
