    Greetings,
I'm totally new to owning a kegerator but I've had several friends over the years who have owned them. Mostly they had cheap consumer level units or fridge conversions...with varying degrees of success (and foam). I decided to purchase something that would stand the test of time & deliver quality pours.

Currently I have the following in hand and still need to finish purchasing some items:

    • Beverage Air BM23 Got this new from KaTOM supply for $1237.88 with free shipping ($50 for liftgate option)
    • Kegco 14" Brushed stainless Dual Faucet Tower.
    • Perlick 630SS Faucelts (2)
I'm building out the rest (Regulators, CO2 tank, hoses, keg couplers) in the next week or so. I live in Portland Oregon so keg beer options are nearly infinite but I plan on running 1 craft NW beer and maybe a domestic for my friends who are pale-water drinkers

I am leaning towards a dual regulator setup so I can pressurize each keg differently if needed. I appreciate and purchase advice from the knowledgable folks on this forum.

    Thanks & Prost!

    Roy

Not too much to add to that, it’s a good set up. For the money you are spending you definitely want to independently adjust pressures to the kegs. Do it right, do it once.

Thanks for the input, much appreciated! Any brand reccomendations on the regulator?

    Nice choice!

Looking at the details it looks like you have done your homework.

My wife got me a BM23 for Xmas about 12 years ago, it rocks. My dilemma is we are having a Xmas party next week and I am try to figure out what will be on tap.

Initially I had only one tap but later on changed it to a two tap system. That was a good move and worth it. When I did I also got a dual regulator. I would definitely do the same because it does make a difference when serving. You would not think so but, it makes for the perfect pour.
I actually got my regulator on Ebay. It was a real good price. I picked up a number of keg related stuff from Ebay because you can find some deals. I have also gotten things from Micromatic. They have everything and good prices.

I am not sure what you will be drinking but, I would also recommend putting quick disconnects on your regulator gas lines and keg couplers in case you need to use different keg coupler types. This came in very handy also.

    Cheers!

Micromatic has good prices, said no one ever. Good products without a doubt. For what you are spending stick with name brand stuff, Tap Rite is a good product and will give you years of service.

Nice tip on the quick disconnects. Sounds like a very handy feature.
