Hearing great things about both cans. A friend got me 4 of each and can't wait to try them!

I had to miss the last release. Just don't have time will all these deadlines. I did just open my last can of Good Conduct though. Tasting great.

I just like how drinkable it is despite being quite sweet. It's like Mr. Tweet identified precisely how sweet a beer can be, without being to sweet, and straddled that line.

Seriously, I've had way too many pastry stouts that are 8oz sippers, and I've gotten past the stupid pastry stout craze. No more glancing over the faults. If you can't drink a good 16oz, and it ain't the ABV that's stopping you, then it's way too sweet. And that's a fault.

It may be simple, but I think that's the goal, and this beer's dialed in.

    Cheers.

Sonoma Pride was for a great cause but honestly I found the beer bland esp. for Fieldwork. YMMV I guess.

Just opened my Good Conduct can. We shared it and 8 oz was just about right. Would have been way too sweet for me to try to finish the entire can.

Also opened my growler of Destination Unknown. THAT was stellar.

A great friend and drinking bud brought me 4 crowlers of Fieldworks IPAs from their Monterey location. We opened Pulp. It didn’t taste like a 6.9% juicy ipa. Almost sessionable. But it took a bit for it to kick in. I am definitely going to fly to SFO to visit the San Mateo location. Soon. January after the holiday rush should do. Looking forward to opening the other 3 crowlers > Sensee Party, Destination Unknown and Hazy Train. Thx jg.

If I hit up Fieldworks San Mateo it would be just for the day. Fly in. Hang out. Crowlers to go. Fly back to LAX.

Kind of a switch up by Fieldwork this week. Look at the last 5 new beers on draft..... Hazebro head is going to be spinning....

    Vincent - Belgian Red Ale
Idiots Lantern - Imperial Red Ale like it is 2006
    Fair Play - English IPA
Rain Street - English Summer Ale
Hors de Saison - Farmhouse Ale

They really are pumping out the beers lately. When I was at the Berkeley taproom last Thursday I counted 20 (21?) beers available. It's great to see this type of variety. The hazebros still have:

    Destination Unknown
    King Citra
    Stars Hollow
    Virtual Planetoid
    Young Murks

Pretty stoked Finer Things is back! Oh and Alex is really nailing these descriptions lately.

I am still waiting for Casa De Citra LAGER to make a return. I really liked that one.

Does fieldwork not sell cans on Sundays or just a one off thing at Monterey last weekend? Cheers.

I wonder how many of those 70 cases are going to the Trappist and how many to tap rooms. Don't think I can make it today…maybe Saturday?

Just picked up my "order" of Virtual Planetoid, Young Murk, and Citadel of Trials from a friend that lives near the brewery. Looking forward to trying them this weekend!

Monterey only got 2 cases of the Citradel of Trials. Was 4pp when I went a little before 2pm. About a case and a half left.
