Would like to try that too. To b honest, have never seen it. Drinking right now (wrong forum I know, but relevant) Arabicadabra by Bells. A relatively new nice coffee milk stout from one of my favorite breweries. I missed their Black Note this year. Couldn't find it anywhere.

I sampled Champion Ground at a Green Road Heinens Jackie O's tasting on 11/10 and enjoyed it a great deal. Shortly thereafter they had it for growler sales and it didn't move nearly as quickly as I thought it would.

That said, I'm greatly enjoying a BCBS right now. We are truly living in a great time for beer drinkers.

If anyone was looking for the thirsty dog barrel aged Bernese east of Cleveland, finally found it at red wine and brew in mentor. They also had the barrel aged victory at sea which was nice. I know it's tough love for platform here, but their high river is really good.

Haven't yet, don't think they started distro quite yet. I grabbed a bunch of it, along with Cafe Deth at the brewery last week though and highly recommend people jump on it this year when you have the chance. It's fire.

Looks like regular Deth hitting Cleveland. Just saw Mack's post they got some. No Cafe though, which sucks cuz it's amazing.

Interesting. I *should* be seeing this near me, but I was just in yesterday and no dice. Have you seen BA Victory at Sea yet? I asked yesterday and was told "not going to get it."

I picked up a can of Deth's Tar today. Never saw that one from Revolution before. In the Middleburg Heights area south of Cleveland.

Can someone explain to me why the brew kettle wants to charge so much for certain beers? 8 bucks for a five oz pour of cbs. They are over charging for a lot of things what is up with this? Their brew kettles beers are all great prices but outside beers they sell are crazy sometimes

Places here in Columbus are charging the same for a 5oz pour of CBS, so to be fair, it's not just Brew Kettle.

That’s pretty much par for the course for a limited beer.

Dunno, someone should call them out on it IMO. Went to Hudson BK a few weeks ago and they had 10oz snifters of Thai Speedway for $13.50. Absurd. Any Jolly Pumpkin beer or sour in general is like $10/snifter.

I know those Speedway kegs are crazy expensive ($300-ish), but a 1/6bbl is roughly 660oz. Say with loss 600 oz. That means they're set to clear $810 on the keg...about $500 in profit.

$500 is not a lot of money. The keg doesn't hook itself up and pour itself; the glasses don't wash themselves, etc etc.

Craft beer is expensive. I don't ever see the point in complaining about that which is intrinsic to craft. But pricing like this wouldn't happen if people didn't turn into drooling idiots every time something remotely uncommon gets tapped or bottled.

The price surging on craft beer has gotten a bit crazy in the past year.

I remember when $5 at the brewery was pretty standard price. Now almost every new brewery is starting at $6 for their core beers. I have actually stopped going to the big tap takeovers at Cappy's because almost every beer is $7 or more, most of which are served in Snifters.
