Remember last year when this came out? Oh how quick things change in a year.

I'm not familiar with Kane's online preorders. Is this the only time Object Permanence will be available for sale? Or is it just a presale type thing and there will be individual bottles available at the brewery at a later date?

Absolutely love this beer, it is amazing. I look at it as $20 per bottle as I have plenty of glasses and don't need more. Not sure I'm getting this.

They'll release the packages online tomorrow for pickup this weekend and the weekend after that. Packages will very likely sell out tomorrow. Some people won't show up to pick them up, and those leftover bottles will be release at a time that no one will be able to predict. In sum, yes, tomorrow is the only time to purchase.

Was getting ready to set my calendar reminder for tomorrow at noon. Then I re-read the post and asked Google how many ounces in 500ml bottle (You know, being dumb American and all). So turns out this is basically $20 per pint with a Spiegelau glass thrown in? Good luck everyone. I'm sure it will be great but I'm at my limit here.

I think if I got in on Mexican Brunch, I'd be inclined to go for this, but I have too much glassware and still have 2 bottles from last year and there are so many good releases lately. Not to mention the $60 tag doesn't include the tax or eventbrite fees. I'm going to pass and hope they sell singles at some point.

Yeah I keep going back and forth on this. I will probably end up going for it, but between BCBS, CBS, BA Ten Fidy, and a few other things that came out recently...... I think I'm completely stocked up! And I thought the CBS was pricey. This is crazy...

Its starting to feel like what I have seen with NY Rangers tickets. The resale value of the tickets was far higher than face value, so they slowly started pushing up the face value to close that gap... to the point that I do not see face value as worth it anymore... I guess that is a capitalist market place though..

**EDIT** forgot to add this which was the whole point of me posting... Anybody else notice the change in the refund policy?

REFUNDS. All bottle set purchases are final sale. By purchasing the bottle set you agree that you will be able to pick them up during the designated pick up days only. No refunds will be issued before, during or after the event.

Personally, I really like the glass and it is making me more inclined to buy the package than I would have otherwise been. I also loved last year's OP and am excited to see this beer return.

And the two weekend-long pickup window is very nice. Very much appreciated that this release is more flexible in that regard.

Thanks for the info. Only asking because I agree with some of the others' sentiments on here. The beer sounds great and I'd love to grab a bottle or two, but dropping $60 on three 500 ml bottles of a beer that I've never had before is a lot to ask, even with the glass included which I actually do like a lot. I think I'll take my chances and hope they release single bottles at some point after the presale.

With the anniversary beer, they only ever offered it in the full sets, and never released singles. Who knows what will happen here but I doubt they will 'advertise' that leftovers are available at the brewery. Based on the no refund and 2 weekend pickup window, I am guessing there will be little to no leftovers here.

They may release leftovers/extras during the week (unannounced), as a way to kill-off Saturday mobs

    Torn here.

Big fan of the beer, but the price point and glassware is a bummer for me.

I understand the price increase, but switching to a smaller bottle does sting.

Also including glassware seems like a small cash grab personally, and I am usually on Kane's side for most things as they really seem to try to do best by their customers.

I remember last year walking in with no issue to grab this beer too.. sad

Yeah I still feel I owe one back for getting 5 bottles of Mexican brunch for $0. I have bought some merch since then and obviously beer (which I would have gotten anyways) I am going to go for a set today for sure.

Is this really one of their beers they need to do a presale for a set of 3? This feels like one of the bottles you used to be able to walk in for a week and grab a bottle. Who really needs 3 of these? Its less about price and more about forcing the quantity for me.

Well I guess we will find out at 12:01 if Kane overestimated the market on this. I would guess it sells out because of beer traders and whale hunters, but I don't engage in beer trading so I don't have an understanding of the relationship between beer price and demand/trade value. So maybe not.

Last year this was definitely something people didn't bat an eye at, me as well. I bought 2 bottles just because I was there the day it dropped. I went home and opened one watching football and was blown away and went and got more the next weekend. A few weeks later they found a few bottles of random stuff in the walk in and I got the last bottle of Object. Since that time I would say the hype went up quite a bit for this one
