    Cool. I'm interested in hearing which order @Eddiehop @meanmutt @StoutElk_92 @invertalon and @Beer_Economicus preferred!

No plans for BBA Diesel in 2018, but we have an even more special BBA Stout planned for later in the year....already in barrels in 2017, this one will spend an entire year before being released....more details later in 2018....

On that note, we already have a very special new formulation that is aging in Rye Barrels and Bourbon Barrels....for you old school folks, you may remember the Righteous Ale....its coming back, but this time reimagined as a bigger, maltier, and more dynamic version of its former self....

My order of preference is 4, 3 and 5. All are very good and taste as intended, but the Rye is my personal favorite.

    Cheers

My order would have to go 4, 3, 5... 3+4 were both so close, but that faint rye like note won me over. Both amazing!

I mean in terms of how much I liked them. Not flavor, sorry if it was confusing!

Its pretty dam good. But like most mass distributed BA stouts not enough barrel character.
Still gonna be buying this as I see it tho.

Loved them all, great beer at a superior price per ounce. 4 winner for me, followed by 3 then 5, but would like to try 3 and 5 together again and see if the order changes of those two.

    Don't forget its a porter, not a stout. :-)

But we'll get you a stout with plenty of BA character in it for 2018. Already in process.

    cheers

Not that I advocate chugging great beer but Diesel makes the best Irish Carbombs.

thoroughly enjoyed 3beans and agree that it is very drinkable for something of that ilk. wish we got the variants out this way - would've loved to have tried the rye ba version!

Got a 4 pack of BA 3Beans in Houston, really nice beer. I wish there was slightly more barrel character to balance out the coffee but overall I enjoyed it. Glad I have 3 more cans going into the holidays.

Unless you're in an Irish Bar, where that term is deemed derogatory. Live and learn!

are you a fan of coffee in porters? we blended/tasted it as a team and actually dialed back the amount of coffee at the last minute...even though some were calling for even more coffee flavor!

I've only had BBA 3Beans so far (though I've had 5Beans in the past). It's such a fantastic beer. As much as I loved the subtle coffee and bourbon notes, I must say that the base beer (Baltic Porter) is outstanding. I love a good Baltic Porter and they really nailed it. I would love to try the base beer without the coffee or the barrel sometime.

I don't think I'll ever make it through a Sixpoint thread without proclaiming my undying love for Diesel. I've been told in the past that they put it on-tap on occasion but I'd love to see cans again someday.

Yeah, black and tans are taboo as well.Regardless, you guys make an excellent Guinness substitute.

Luckily I wasn't the one who used the term, a friend of mine ordered it. But then again, he has no issue drinking cocktails or hard liquor with milk but thinks lactose in beer is gross. Go figure!

Drinking a can of 4Beans right now in a Sixpoint teku, what a lovely glass of beer.
