Metropolis' Spice Island blend for both High West-ified & Willettized. The videos there with Jeremy are interesting watching. For the Willettized, a blend of the beer aged for 3, 6 & 9 months for those interested.

Found some today in NWI was only able to snag 2 Bottles. Lady at the Register said they just got it yesterday and was down to a six pack when I got there early in the afternoon. Happy to try the new version, have 1 bottle of High West left to compare it too.

Local store emailed me this morning that they will not be getting this. Evidently one store in Sheboygan got 1 case !

It's not at the lagunitas brewery in Chicago yet if you're looking to get it there....they are however filling growlers of it there

Imo it punches above its weight. Easily the best value bbs I can think of. $11 a six pack? Fuck yes.

Perhaps. I must admit that I have not had their own distillate since it was bottled at two years. It was very young then.

Got some direct info from Binny's Pete today (formerly of Glen Ellyn Binny's - now working from main office getting out to all Binny's working with all beer departments). There was some type of mistake and they did not get all the Willettized they were supposed to get this past week. Expect more coming out in the next week at most Binny's, at that awesome $11.99 price.
But don't sleep on new offerings from Clown Shoes, Spiteful, Half Acre (Big Hugs cans), Hailstorm (Vlad cans), Perrin (No Rules), Avery (Tweak), Ballast point, etc...

I'll have to keep an eye out on Willettized Coffee Stout this week coming up. Was out of town all last week and hoped that I didn't miss out on all of it.

I enjoyed the High-Westified a good bit last year, and even though there are better BA coffee beers out there, none of them get released in such large volume or for such a great price.

The price point is amazing it's just unfortunate it's posted by a brewery which I refuse to support. More power to them I suppose.

That’s kind of exactly how it works. More purchasing power and high volume allows them to charge a lower price.

I was able to grab a few 6-packs at my Mariano's. $11.99 per 6-pack and it's one of the best values in craft beer right now!

Great barrel character, very present but not overpowering coffee, and really creamy/smooth. It's sort of like a KBS/Black Note hybrid with a little more coffee. And 1/3 the cost.
