Had a crowler of Mosaic Monsoon during the Seahawks/ Eagles game. If you get to Corridor this week I think you will enjoy the Monsoon.

How was their imperial stout yesterday? Anyone go up there to try it out?

 

Guess I know where I will have to go before Revolution on Friday. I can use the money I saved because I didn't get any CBS on Crowlers of CJB.

 

Did anybody go to the New England style IPA tap takeover at Dry Hop. Really wanted to go but the 90 minute plus drive at the end of the day just didn't look all that good to me. I've tried some of the beers that we're going to be there but was really interested what people thought of the Citransfixion . I love me some Citra hops.

Awesome beer with a lot of taste for clocking in at 5.3%. I was really impressed by both of DryHops offerings.

 

buddy of mine went in, wasn't impressed. didn't like the flavor or mouthfeel. usually walks out with a crowler or two and he passed this time.

 

just had Monsoon again Wednesday night; that s**t is so solid. I'd want that all day long if it wasn't 7% ...; cosmic juice box released! Gotta get back.

 

Next Squeezit release is 12/14, at noon, per Twatter.

I mostly like calling it that because it makes the corresponding word for tweets themselves about 10x more fun to say (and pretty appropriate, given Twitter's status as a troll paradise).

 

Stopped in at 8:30ish tonight but it was too busy to grab a pint. Grabbed crowlers of Monsoon, Juicebox (my favorite Corridor beer), and Big Slice. If I can get into Big Slice this weekend I will report back. It was cool to get the 2 free pint glasses with the crowlers as I forgot about that 3 crowler/2 glass special.

 

Here’s my Big Slice take: Good chocolate stout. Mouthfeel is right where you would expect an 11% stout to be. The hazelnut is kind of subtle as opposed to something like Hazel’s Nuts which really pops. Overall it’s a good stout that should be a nice base for a barrel. I also think this would be a good jumping off point to play around with various adjuncts.

 

Coming in from out of town so don't have experience with their releases. How long before these typically sell out? Curious if they'll last through the entire day.

 

Are you referring to today? If so, You won’t have problems getting crowlers of Cosmic Juice Box or Big Slice. As posted by Corridor last night, Mosaic Monsoon will be dicey.

If you mean the Squeeze It can release? Zero chance it lasts the day. But they crowler it so you won’t go away empty handed

Did the same thing yesterday but had my Big Slice on tap while I was there earlier in the day. The 3 Crowler glass combo was awesome. Got 2 CJB's and another Mosaic Monsoon (which is over the top delicious IMO ) and my mini-fridge is once again at least partially full of Corridor goodness.

Thought the was pretty good myself. Definitely some dark chocolate upfront, some roast and I got a little licorice in the middle. Very subtle on the hazelnut as you mentioned and seemed to get a little up front and on the finish. 11% Abv is well hidden and had a nice smooth mouthfeel. Thinking it should last a bit as it probably will not be everyone's cup of tea but I will definitely be in again to have some more pours.

Hats of to @Nbrock24 if you actually domed the whole crowler. You must have slept like a baby.

Corridor opens at 11:00 on Friday so I would think if you were outside by 10:00 you would have a shot. Might be a little different with more people back from school and potentially off work for the Holidays. I believe they only can 100 4-packs for the release but as @Nbrock24 said they will be filling crowlers as well.
