Also got to try User Agreement at the tavern, which I thought was fantastic. Really hope he does another lager. Let The Devil In lived up to the hype as well.

 

Anyone have any further information on the Anni tm? Besides a killer tap list anyone expecting a special crowler?

 

I heard if you show up you are going to be supporting one of the most rad breweries in the land and two of the coolest proprietors of all proprierdom, so you should really go!

 

People have been on line since sunrise this morning in the snow. Just a friendly warning for sane people considering driving out.

 

No sane person would consider going today cause of how many insane people there are!

They are doing crowlers today too. I might stop in later once the madness dies down.I've had enough madness for the week.

 

Shit didnt see anything about crowlers. Thought it was just merch at brewery and stuff on tap at Tavern. Oh well.

 

Looking at the names of the beers released today I can see why Alex told me it was going to be a “black metal Sunday”.

 

Busy week for you guys. Was able to trade for a growler of the collaboration and WOW. I guess I should have known from my two favorite NJ breweries for ipas!

 

Now that was a fun party. Between Refererend's anniversary festivus last weekend, Conclave's Troon collaboration release, and now Troon's anniversary party, it's been an epic week in NJ beer!

 

I skipped the line for crowlers as I was already past the 80 mark and headed straight to the Tavern to wait for them to open. Was able to try the stouts on tap and really enjoyed the vanilla the most which surprised me as I tend to like the pepper/cinnamon stouts. Went out to wait in line about 12:30 and got a crowler and willi glass with minimal wait and was gifted a sweet glass from Alex.

We're definitely lucky to live so close to Troon, Conclave and Referend!

 

I too received a gold lettered glass. Alex and Tom are really class acts. The glass is awesome, but the note that came in it meant even more.

And we are indeed geographically blessed with great breweries. My New Years beer resolution last year was to stop chasing out of state stuff and focus my beer budget on local breweries. I'm really glad I did, they haven't let down.

 

That's a great resolution. The note was very awesome and sincere. I thought when he handed me the glass he had misheard me when I told him what I was paying for. He definitely deserves any and all success coming his way and I wish him nothing but the best because he has a great attitude and is always friendly and willing to chat about whatever.

 

Happy to see this thread quiet down. There was a beer today, but it's gone.
