Dark Lord (2018)

It's just a testament to everyone's dedication. The weather stops no one, it's just as much fun, it becomes part of the festival. Not too many folks seem bothered by it. That would never happen out here haha.

I didn't even mention the people watching later in the day. Some years you are "that guy," other years it's just fun watching "that guy." Either way, "that guy" is usually taken care of by someone, we've all been there.

I'm not jaded enough to give up on DLD yet.

 

As an attendee of the LP Binny's release on Black Friday, yes I can.

 

Has anyone complained about the music yet? I heard it might be heavy metal and I HATE heavy metal!

 

If it is like last year it will be great, didn't hear any of it.

 

I missed the other bands but danced my drunk ass off while Dragon Abortion was rocking out a fetus banger cover.

 

I didn’t see nearly as many “that guy” as usual this past DLD. My wife attended DLD with me and was hoping to see some of “that guy” but seen only a few people sleeping in the grass. At least there was “Outline my body with bottles passed out on the ground guy.”

 

Just a thought, will cbs replace yum yum as the always available beer on tap in 2018? I figure, if they are gonna shut down the shitshow thread they should give something back.

I had a marshmallow handjee 2017 last night, and it was pretty good. You guys should try it!

Had to miss my first DLD in 5 years last year due to a family member graduating college that day. Of course the weather was gorgeous after the garbage weather of 2016. I cannot wait to get back! Hopefully I don't bring the rain clouds with me.....

 

Anyone know approx when tickets will go on sale?

Who's traded off their variant(s) from 2017? And what did you trade them away for? I've been trying to get a hold a bottle of BADL 17 but it's been difficult to gauge what it takes. Really liked the BADL 16 and so I'm trying to score one from this past DLD.

 

We got 2x FVM. Traded one FVM for DBH + St Lam + Casey FP Apricot + Casey Cut Grape. Then traded the DBH + '15 BB Dark App + WW French Toast for BADL. St Lam got wrapped up in a broad mix of stuff for a Muerte and other things...because variety is the spice of life

 

I drank my Muerte with a friend... the FVM on the other hand got traded for about 15 fresh treehouse cans.

 

Had 2 FVM's and a buddy had 1. Drank his and it was fantastic. Traded my two nonetheless for a Muerte and a BBA. Spice of life and all. The FVM is trading below its worth in my opinion. Was spectacular.

 

You got lucky then. Mine was wretched.
