Lawson's Finest Jade IPA

    saw this was on draft at farmhouse in burlington. 7.2% abv ipa brewed with pacific jade hops from new zealand. is this draft only or were bottles also released? maybe released in bottles this coming friday?

    bottles were around last friday. no idea if he will brew more or held some back for a farmers market.

    Tasty but not as good as DS, Chinooker'd, Hopzilla or Triple Play, imo.

    I'd be curious how this compares to Foothills Jade IPA, which is easily one of my favorite beers.

    This. Agreed. Tried my first Jade last night. Although nothing bad to say, after all the man knows his way around an IPA...just not as tasty as the aforementioned ones. Still delicious though...

    I've had it out of a bottle and on tap... I don't know why, but I really preferred it out of the bottle. Great orange/lemon citrus notes going on. On tap it was still good, but the bitterness kind of pushed those flavors out of the way. It's not as good as DS, but I'll take it for a single hop IPA.
