So, like, where are the wha---....just kiddin'. Still going to try and visit the Maplewood and Spiteful taprooms opening this weekend, before we take off on the 20th. Can't believe our 5 months here in Chicago are up. Single tear-drop. Still, Colorado. Cheers y'all.

 

Sailor's Kush is finally hitting this Friday! I'm pumped and am going to have to interrupt my stout schedule to check this one out.

Looks like bottles of Double Daisy Farmer are hitting Chicago shops today, for those interested.

 

They actually had already started hitting yesterday (and perhaps before that, for all I know). I know I saw at least one FB or IG post about it yesterday.

 

Well then I stand corrected!

 

Spent time last night and just a few moments ago contemplating the new Taco Day Wakatu (single hop) pale ale. Delicious stuff. Clean/crisp, lime meets mango profile to it that is really interesting. Me likey. See you for the kush tomorrow.

 

Binny’s LP had it yesterday and I think it was Warehouse that I saw posting it. Excited to try this one. There were a couple of other Oxbow beers that looked nice too

 

Anybody try it? Thinking of making a trip over during lunch.

That's what I hoped the "press driven qualities" were. I don't want them to go full Trillium on me, but I would love Half Acre to do some stuff more in the Alchemist vein (basically what they do now, but with a slightly fuller feel while maintaining hop-forwardness). Kind of what I'd imagine Cliffs of Tephra would've been with some extra haze.

 

Am I reading HA's website correctly and Sailor's Kush is $20 per 4-pack?
