    I think it WAS about to explode. That's why I made that follow-up post.

    I ALMOST considered buying the Rare, knowing I could trade or pass it along to a fellow BA, but I figured that wouldn't be fair to the person who drove themself out there to buy it themselves. Plus, I wasn't taking the chance on getting stuck with it - I'm sure it's good, but it's still just beer.

    Wouldn't drive far to get Bramble...the least impressive of the variants by far!

    this is one of the most wrong statements i have ever heard.

    bramble only falls short of rare.

    i believe in another Bramble thread someone posted that BCBCS was 10x better than Bramble. So it's possible if you put that ISO up, that guy will trade you 10 Bramble's

    i was one of those who picked up the Rare, KH and big john!!!.. the rare and john are sitting nice in my cellar with the rest of the GI lineup.. as for the KH, looking for a nice new home ;0)

    Hmmm, did you have it recently? I had it a few months back and it was good, but def fell short of other bcbs variants I have had IMO... i have 2 more i am sitting on just waiting for the bramble to meld and die down a bit

    I did KH in a big barleywine tasting when it first came out it was a top favorite. I'm not really a fan of Sucaba and I don't understand why people keep bringing that up that specific beer as a better or equivalent substitute. I guess it's all subjective. If you wanna talk about over-rated then we can talk about all those BA Dark Lords you had there.

    So the BCBS Coffee I bought - how is it drinking now? Is the coffee all gone? I bought it figuring it would be just a niced aged BCBS, and any coffee is bonus.
