Which store?

 

They did not know, sorry. Otherwise I would have gone there to get some.

 

Any sightings in the western burbs (Geneva area)? Having a devil of a time trying to find this.

 

I lucked into the last 6 pack at DePaul Whole Foods. I had kind of given up on finding it and wasn’t going to hunt for it, so it’s nice to stumble upon some. May crack one tonight.

 

The beer buyer there is really good. That's how I tried most of the BCS variants last year on draft. Stuff lasts there.

Not sure about exact locations but seems to be popping up at some Jewels this week around the western burbs. You may want to make some phone calls.

Don't give up! At the price point it's worth the hunt. I've been really enjoying this years batch.

 

Most shops that have gotten it in Madison have broken up the sixers, with (I think) the exception of Whole Foods, which predictably sold out quite fast.

 

This popped in Champaign this week. Both bigger stores got very little amounts. One got a case and was $12.99 a sixer, other selling at 2 bottles per at $2.50 a pop.

Had one, along with having a '16 High West a few nights prior. Both very nice and so great for the price. The Willet definitely had more barrel to me, especially rye spice. Which I personally like. Curious to see how Willet does over time.

 

There were four 6 packs at Lakeview Whole Foods last night if anyone is still looking for some.

 

Scored 2 sixers today at Woodman's GB !

 

Any updates from anyone in IN? Pretty miffed it appears IN is getting the shaft again like High Westified.

 

It came and went up north (South Bend area) a week or two ago. Most places I frequent only got one case (or none at all) and sold singles with a two bottle limit. Required some effort to put together a single sixer. Not sure if complete BS, but one store claimed they were told the whole state only got 40 cases. Sorry I can't be of more help in tracking some down for you. Cheers!

This, like this year's Java Cask, will probably not make it into Michigan. I know we have a lot of great beer here, but c'mon, can't Lagunitas and Victory at least TRY to compete? Also, as Lagunitas owns a portion of Shorts, you would expect they should have slightly better distro here. Maybe that's higher math reasoning, though.
