Yeah heinens charges amazing prices for beers. For a while the heinens in strongsville was charging 3 dollars for reverythijg pretty much on tap if I remember correct. It looks like they may have changed that now but it was awsome whole it lasted

Same reason Lizardville adds $1-2 to the price of their bottles, because they can.

A lot of the butt hurt in this forum could be cured with a lesson in Capitalism.

I've seen some negative comments about Platform here but I stopped at their place on Lorain prior to a concert tonight and had a nice barrel aged Esther, a Belgian Christmas ale, and enjoyed myself there with a friend. The place wasn't jumping since it's a Sunday night but people, including the cute barmaids, were very friendly and it was a very positive experience.

Never understood why people feel the need to comment on bartenders' appearances when we're here to talk about the beer.

If the mods felt my comments were inappropriate I'm sure they'd have let me know. I really don't see what the big deal is about since I was describing the facility as well as the beer, including that other patrons at the bar were friendly.

Lessons (or not?) in supply/demand economics and a white knight woke off. A magical thread, indeed.

Does anyone know if Platform is maintaining their kettle sour series and it’s still a new one every month or is there a new rhythm?

Lizardvilles are having a Bells Black Note event today. Don't understand how they can have a one bottle limit when this stuff had a case (or more) limit at the brewpub and initially hit a few shops in Ohio weeks ago. Also seems to require a flight with cream stout and expedition to get an in-house pour or black note. Might not be worth a drive in the snow during rush hour for a single bottle.

Did Bells really stiff Ohio regarding the amount of Black Note that made it into Ohio? Maybe OSU football needs to give _ichigan a win to make the Michigan folk feel better. Didn't see a whole lot when it showed up after Thanksgiving. A few stores got some but most that I visit didn't receive any. Even though the seemingly made a bunch in '17, I had an easier time finding 2016v1 and v2 bottles in Ohio.

I don't think we were stiffed. I saw way more of it around Thanksgiving than I have from any previous releases since 2014.

There were 4 packs on the shelf here in Columbus if that gives you any indication of how much there was.

I found multiple 4 packs in 3 different places with no limits and wasn’t looking for it. One of them still had them in the cooler 3 weeks later

Man, Ohio must have got a metric shit ton more than Indiana did. It definitely was nearly non-existent here.
