New to Ohio (2017)

Looked like a good amount, but sometimes it’s just where it lands that it doesn’t sell (at least quickly)

 

Detroit rd stores in Lakewood got 20 some cases spread out through the stores.

 

Lizardville Bedford still has High West Victory if anyone is looking for it. Great price, but underwhelming beer. Decent, but glad I didn't search it out.

 

Any willetized sightings though?

 

It's dropping around Cincinnati.

I'm glad the Flat Abby memes are pretty much over, but look out for the pricing complaints.

 

I hear bourbon paradise and noirs hit Cleveland. Noirs are hitting Kent. Anyone hear anything for Akron?

 

CBS dropped at Market District Solon today (on tap as well). Was able to grab two bottles easily, at one per person (gf grabbed one as well). Given the lack of people, probably be on tap tomorrow and maybe even though the weekend for those looking for it on tap. 16oz pour was $12 or $13 I believe?

 

That's a good price for draft, I've basically seen it at $1/oz everywhere. If you do get it, let it sit out and warm. Almost no maple until it warms up.

 

I prefer the "holding it like the holy Grail" technique myself.

 

Just wanted to sho some love to Masthead Brewing Company.. they're doing some pretty good stuff.. I haven't been there or tried any of their draught stuff, but all of the stuff they've canned and sent out to distribution has been pretty impressive.. Their IPA and Wit are really good.. their Midwest Red IPA and Sleigh All Day Red IPA were really good.. I just had their Brute Force DIPA today and was really impressed.. they seem to know what they're doing with hops.. I picked up a nitro-can of their Single Origin Coffee Stout, but haven't tried it yet.. anyways, I'm loving what they're doing..

 

Probably the best new brewery in Cleveland, at least for my money.

 

Masthead is great. I went there a couple months after they opened. If you love pizza, you'll love the food. I got a flight, and enjoyed them all. Glad they're canning/distributing now.

The first time I'm at Masthead and they have Bodhi on tap! But I had to stay true to their beer on my first visit. Highly recommend.

 

Masthead is da bomb. I have been saying it from day one. Out of all the new places in Cleveland they are the best by far. Single origin coffe is great. I was not too crazy about sleigh all day. It was not bad but just not that good either. Their barrel aged pumpkin beer was awsome there has only been a few beers I have had so far from them fath I would not get again. I try my best to sample everything they kale but there has been a few i missed

 

Curious if anyone in the Columbus area picked up and Hipster Brunch / Rye Hipster Brunch over the weekend? I purchased some from a certain well known beer shop and paid $12/$14 each but come to find from a buddy that's double what he paid at another local shop. Curious what folks paid and if this was a blatant price gouge/money grab.

 

Reg was $4.99 yesterday.

I was accidentally overcharged something like that at Crafted Drafts...went back in and they made things right.
