Bourbon County 2017

Does anyone even say that BCBS is rare? Perhaps limited, but rare & limited are not the same thing imo. It may be quite limited in specific parts of the country (and it might very well be rare in those parts due to how the product is allocated) but I don't think anyone is saying it is rare in a total volume sense.

Can't wait for the drop of variants on Dec. 24th that will piss off a bunch of people cause they were out of town or at a family event...that would get this thread going really good!

In case anyone is looking, loads of cases of Bourbon County sitting at Binny's Schaumburg; I would estimate 12-15 full cases. They also had CBS bottles, Deth's Tar and Drago among other goodies.

Binny's downtown on Grand also has a few cases of regular on the floor with a limit of I believe three bottle.

 

Binny’s Lakeview had 20+ cases of regular come in. No variants - they said there was no option to get any variants.

 

Ya i’ve heard from multiple binnys the second drop is just regular this year.

 

The variants last year were also just prop (chicago only) and coffee, so that may have skewed things for us in terms of distribution on second drop.

It really is a gem. One of my favorite things to do after work is catch up on it if there's been a bunch of activity.

24th or 26th will work for me as I'll be up visiting family! I'm hoping for some announcement... When did that email from Binny's about last year's Rare drop on the 26th come out? I may have met one of the strangest people ever in that OP Binny's "line" last year. It was awesome in a train wreck kinda way.

Ditto down here. Sounds like our second drop will be all regular. Although we got a ton of Barley last year too.

 

Dang I was just there a couple hours ago and got a Regualr and Deth's Tar. I didn't see the CBS, was it on the shelf? I didn't see it on the counter but there was Bell's BA Cherry Stout.
