I’ve had a hemp ale and loved it, but I’m more of a creamy stout guy. Has anyone ever sipped a wonderful hemp stout?

Uinta brews a black IPA with hemp seeds it's more or less a hoppy stout and tasty. Dubhe is its name.

Humboldt Brewing has been making a beer with hemp seeds for many years. It's pretty good.

I think you'll be seeing hemp/marijuana beers popping up in greater frequency as more states legalize.

Move over fruit. "Cross-fade" beers are coming!

the whole point of hemp adjuncts is that the States don't need to legalize to brew..

Unita is in Utah which probably busts the most pounds of Marijuana per state, it's far from legal and wont be for a long time there.

Talking about THC infused beers would provide the "cross fade" you mentioned, lol my cousin would love that reference.

Screw the cross fade aspect thats nonsense.... Is no one interested in the fact hops and cannabis are so closely related and the new tastes/smells that can come from cannabis terpenoids?!?!?

I’m very much looking forward to seeing walks through the doors legalization is opening!!

Can we have both :stuck_out_tongue:. I would imagine the time and effort to extract the terpenoids purely for aroma and taste would be too costly but hey who knows..

Quite right. Marijuana isn't being legalized so that it can be used in beer. However, beer is just a natural avenue of such legislation.

That's what it would be. Both. I'd imagine some might venture for one over the other. Much like gluten-free or non-alcoholic beer is an exclusive product.

There are already plenty of "marijuana infused" drinks on the market like pink lemonade and tea which leads me to think that it is only a matter of time before it enters into beer as a standard ingredient. Either by a small brewer or a large corporate one. The buds...not just the seeds.
