I was tempted to open one last night given the three smaller bottles, but I have not yet. Interested to see if others have and what they think of it.

By the way, is Object's base Vengeful Heart, or are they completely different? I'm thinking different since one is categorized as an American Barleywine and the other is English, but I think it was a Youtube reviewer that mentioned it may be the base...could be way off though.

Glad you liked the First Reef. I have a growler sitting in my fridge at the moment and planning to pop it open on Friday. Can't wait.

I asked that question last year when I picked up my bottles and Vengeful is not the base.

I had assumed it was the same beer. In fact, when I sent a couple of people O. P. I included a bottle of V.H. so they could try the base beer.

However, looking at the description, it clearly is not.

The beers are two different styles. Vengeful Heart is an American Barleywine whereas Object Permanence is an English Barleywine.

As others have said, they are completely different. There is no "base" Object Permanence, that is to say no "un-barrel-aged" Object Permanence. The recipe is, like many of our barrel aged beers, specifically conceived and brewed to go into barrels.

Anyone know what sneakbox can inventory is looking like? Hoping to swing by tomorrow morning and grab some. Not that head high is a bad alternative. Thanks!

You should be good. They have consistently had their 3 cores in stock for a while now.

Thanks. Yeah that's what I've noticed too. Which will make me feel all the more unlucky if they run out ha. Somehow managed to get the okay to go on a run to restock the fridge with a newborn at home. Wanted to make sure I'm gonna get what I wanted most.

PM me if you want. Also I remember last month over hearing one of the staff say they really shouldn’t ever be out of any of the 3 core cans moving forward. Makes sense with all the new tanks

Thoughts on First Reef? I wanted to try it at Maloneys but couldn't get there. Also couldn't get to Kane this past weekend. Their FB page didn't mention it being available for growler fills...

It's good. I actually might prefer it over Third Reef just because it is a little easier to handle. Third Reef is a beast...
