    Oops! Let's try this again....

    12/5 RELEASE
    ________________________________
Cherry Razz Tastee (DEBUT) Tastees are kettle sour ales clocking in at 5.5%. We added a ton of lactose to these and brewed them intentionally to be fuller bodied to try and replicate a fruit smoothie. We then select two different fruits and bomb them out in secondary fermentation at just shy of double fruited goses levels of fruit. The first iteration will be a blend of sweet cherry and red raspberry. This turned out crazy. It seriously like an intense adult fruit smoothie. **PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE IS A SIGNIFICANT AMOUNT OF FRUIT IN THIS BEER AND THAT IT IS IMPERATIVE THAT THESE CANS REMAIN COLD AT ALL TIMES.**
    Shooting for approx 180-200x cases. $21+tax/4-pack. 1x case/6x 4-packs per person

Swimming Poolz (DEBUT) is a collabo with our buddy Søren from Dry & Bitter Brewing Company. Together we decided to brew a massive 11.5% Triple IPA and toss a bunch of lactose in it. The lactose contributes a fully mouthfeel and some velvety residual sweetness. We bombed this one out with Mosaic, Enigma, and Ekuanot.
    Shooting for approx 175-195x cases. $18.50+tax/4-pack. 1x case/6x 4-packs per person

We Ded Mon is our 100% Citra hopped Triple IPA. Clocking in at 11%, this one is insane. One of our favorite TIPA's we make and we are hoping to keep this one around a little more frequently.
    Shooting for approx 185-205 cases. $17+tax/4-pack. 1x case/6x 4-packs per person

Coalesce is our 5.5% unfiltered Czech style Pilsner made with floor malted Pilsner malt and European hops. Crisp, effervescent, bready, floral, and zippy. This one has some of favorite label art from our design Tim Skirven of Skirven & Croft.
    Shooting for approx 60-80x cases. $12.50+tax/4-pack. 1x case/6x 4-packs per person

Dreamless is a 4% unspiced Witbier. Defo one of our favorite crushers we make!
    Shooting for approx 60-80x cases. $13+tax/4-pack. 1x case/6x 4-packs per person

Ok so I'm pretty much a hornswoggler hater, I think its an overly sweet gimmick beer, but holy shit that white russian barrel aged hornswoggler is amazing. I'm glad I had not tasted this before it went on sale a few weeks ago, I might have waited in line for crowlers.

There are actually a lot of good beers on tap for the mikkeler event, the beer geek vanilla maple shake is awesome.

My ex missed Oreo Hornswogggler by minutes both days for me :slight_frown: Grabbed some other good stuff thought. Hoping to get one can sent up to me for Xmas eve! This beer has eluded me and she said it was awesome when she tried it last year down for work.

Tarpey did some great stuff up here at the Portsmouth Brewery also!

Merry Xmas, you are all lucky to have this spot!

I was kinda unimpressed by Oreo Horns B2. It was still good but not as strong as I rememver B1 being.

Everyone ready for tomorrow’s shit show? I can’t even make it all my friends are normies.

I'm making the trip. I'm not into the goses like everyone else, but IdonteverEVER is probably my favorite DIPA they do. It's right there with the best batches of Dirt Nap or WF for me. I'm hoping it's more like the Tuesday before Thanksgiving this year with a steady line but not stupid long (over an hour) wait. At least the limits are reasonable.

Could be a madhouse, people are going nuts talking about NNAA. I'm sure you'll have no problem trading it if you are not that into it.

I certainly think the Idon’tEver beers are underrated but NNAA B1 was freakin incredible. I hope it’s not too bad of a line but I’d expect the worst.

I'm expecting tomorrow's line to be as bad as it gets. NNAA is probably their #1 hype beer, and then a triple IPA version of White Ferarri and a DIPA sweetened with maple syrup, this is basically a dream lineup for the candy-beer crowd.

So if I'm interested in the gose, the idontever, and the whitebuggati (but not the Sugar House with it's mere 100 cases), when is the sweet spot time to get there the assures me getting what i want and waiting the least in line?

Grown men are going nuts for a raspberry gose? What a bunch of girly men Richmond is full of.

I'm pretty sure there hasn't been a can release in almost a year where you couldn't get everything if you showed up at 4PM. It's going to be a nutty one today and if they don't drop the limit on Sugar House it'll be gone before 6, but I still bet anyone in line by 4 would get it. We'll see!

For those of you who are regular Veil attendees.. Is the double raspberry NNAA really that much better than NA? I'm curious how much of it is that gold-standard Veil hype/marketing and how much is a truly superior product.

They've only made it once before so not everyone can even answer this question.
In this case, I would say it's less Veil marketing and more Veil fanboy hype/anticipation. But in general do I think the double goses are better than the regular versions....imo...Yes.

I assume you’re talking about the thicker NA B2? That was pretty close to NNAA B1 but NNAA had more chunks of fruit in it, a little more tart, and salt.

And by all means, I hope NNAA lasts longer than I think it will but I remember the stories about the previous release. Whew buddy

I was wondering more about if the double-fruited goses were substantially better beers than their single-fruited counterparts to warrant such an increased amount of hype. I haven't had the opportunity to get these beers enough to make that decision for myself. Just pure curiosity though.
