Possibly, I had heard that tap room numbers were down, and losing their tap room manager/online marketer to a distributer doesn't help that situation.

I'm interested to see what they do in terms of possibly bottling/canning as well as maybe getting to see a bigger presence from them at local eateries etc. on tap. And hey, they will still have some parties there.

The only thing I ever see of theirs is the VBS...and it is turrible. Meh.

That one's being reworked because of the high cost of vanilla these days. Look for a replacement soon.

I have long felt there was too much vanilla in that beer anyway, though I suppose it was necessary to cover up the lack of bourbon.

When it was first brewed by River City's previous incarnation (Coeur d'Alene Brewing) it was actually fortified with bourbon! 10.2% alcohol and devastatingly drinkable. They soon fell afoul of the law for this, so the current version was created to keep the sweet tooth people who flocked to it. There was an even more insipid version at the CDA Brewing spin-off, Steamplant Brewing, at one point.

They've been talking January, haven't seen any updates recently. Just part of having the restaurant shut down, since they weren't really distributing.

Hopefully the employees that were idled had something to fall back on.
