Opened a few sour sisters yesterday during our family Christmas celebration, and Halia was decidedly the "best of show." Would love to drink this regularly but the price and makes it difficult to do so. Are there any good alternatives available that will do less damage to my wallet?
Unfortunately all of the other top tier peach sours I've had have been minimal to no distro beers. Halia is a pretty great option but the format and the price are prohibitive sometimes. We should all push for them to reduce format, which would also help the price. Cascade is a close competitor, but format and price aren't going to vary much from Halia.
Thanks for the suggestions, everyone. Une Annee has been a bit of a blind spot for me, so I'm glad for a good excuse to check them out.
It's been a long, long time.. You're such a sight. You're looking better than a body has a right to. Don't you know we're playing with the fire? But we can't stop this burning desire...
I love the Synchopathic Apricot from DESTIHL, more of a straight sour than a sour saison; but might be in the ballpark for what you are looking for. 4 pack cans at a great price.
