Here’s my nightcap, with sausage, cheese, and crackers in the background, my favorite snack during the Christmas season. I might be back tomorrow night but it will be the same beers of course. Can’t wait to celebrate this weekend and get this year over with. I’m almost positive that three posts on a Wednesday WBAYDN thread is a new record for me.

They just started sending kegs to Maine. Word is cans are coming next year. Looking forward to trying them. Cheers

A big stout on this bitter, cold night.

Trying something new to me and not at all regretting it. A coffee infused oatmeal stout from Firestone Walker. The coffee is perhaps a bit overpowering to the oatmeal:

I was going to drink the new Sierra Nevada DIPA that I bought last night in the big city, but opted for La Cumbre Elevated IPA which has finally made it to Southern Arizona. It’s good, and has a big hop bite, and is better than any of the IPA’s I’ve had from Arizona, to date. Cheers!

#2, I really like this a lot. I will sign any on-line petitions requesting Guinness make this excellent beer part of their year-round lineup.

Ok, last time I'll bore y'all from Asheville, heading home to Ocala tomorrow. Lots of great folks and breweries here, but you already know that! Cheers folks! Wicked Weed server Holland was great, pre-packing in the room now....

Probably a review coming soon. But where is the barrel? Where is the maple? Just an overroasted stout, imo. For the hype and scarcity of it? No thanks. I have friends who homebrew stuff better than this. And for what's it worth, the Evil Twin IBB maple bourbon barrel aged release earlier this year shits allll over this. 4.67? HAH.

It was 28 degrees below zero this morning, when I left for work. My brother will be glad to get back to San Diego tomorrow. Let him pick tonight's beer out of the cellar. DKML & a 2016 Surly Rye Barrel aged Pentagram. Thankfully tomorrow is supposed to warm up to a balmy 10°!

    Cheers!

Really, really slow hump day, BAs! I'm here to help.

At a solid five months old, this thing has really aged gracefully into a hahahhaha yeah this thing is still massive.

Delicious though. I said g'night last night, and I was wrong (although I didn't post my last beer). So I won't call it with this one, although all signs post to it being a closer.

    Cheers!

Been looking for these for a good while. Have '16 and '17 but holding off for an '18 this spring to do a vertical. This is a lot sweeter than I figured. Cherries and vanilla.

I went in expecting to be let down and I disagree I just love that stuff and it lived up to all the hype in my opinion. Cheers anyway.

Fat Point Wassail Wine is a winter warmer/barleywine. Finally cracking this after nearly a year. Had a buddy pick it up while vacationing in Florida last year. This is intensely spiced with clove and orange leading the way. Hoping the spicing will calm a bit as it warms as it is overpowering.
