Jackie O's (2018)

I'm heading up for the Anniversary party on Saturday. Anyone have any idea if all of the bottles will last into saturday based on previous parties? Mainly coming up from KY for the taplist and party, but would love to be able to take home all of the bottles.

 

I'm not going to say yes or no definitively, however, based on previous experience, you should be fine on Saturday. It all depends on final yield though.

 

Saturday has been good to me for the last few releases. Sunday is even ok, depending on the release.

 

Keep in mind there are a couple beers that have a one bottle limit so it's possible they don't last until Saturday.

 

Roughly 500 bottles of each. So they should last. We set these up to discourage lines, anxiousness, and chaos.

Next years release schedule posted on facebook. Curious as to the new seasonal cans and also didn't see Appervation. I'll ask the question now since you'll probably hear about it a ton, is it getting released this year and are you just not sure on the time frame yet? Also super pumped for Lucille in December. Looks like another year of going broke on JOs again.

 

Creature Comforts collab on the release schedule?? I freaking love Creature Comforts.

Anyone else check the Jackie Os FB page 10x a day for the past week looking for the taplist? Group is 14 strong this year — can’t wait.

Any suggestions for a Jackie O's Anniversary party noob (beyond having a blast of course)? I've been to the brewery and public house in the past for smaller releases, any reason to plan differently? I'll be coming from Pittsburgh and hope to be there by open, if not a little before.

 

Drink lots of water and eat lots of cheese curds. Other than that you’ll be good.

On a serious note, it will be more crowded, but you should be good to go with getting the bottles you want, especially at the time you’re planning to get there. One could probably get there Friday afternoon or evening and get everything if they wanted to

 

Yes the vanilla and coffee Bean was amazing.

 

It's going to be extremely cold (the last time I checked, the low Friday night is supposed to be below zero), so getting there right at open might not be advisable unless you're OK with standing in line outside. They have the bottle limits set up so you'll get everything unless you wait until Saturday. I'd take your time and wait for a lull in the crowd.
