There will be a line at 3pm. Honestly, given that Green Power lasted until after 7pm, you should be fine getting cans after work.

After about 5 weeks, Just cracked open one of my last Mylar Daydreams. This has developed well. Creamy, Dank juice with Zesty Lime. Much more enjoyable now (and it was solid at launch)

Never been to OH, if I went at some point later in the day this Saturday would I be able to get cans? Expecting not to, as I’m thinking like after 4 when there’s no line. Unless the line significantly dies down earlier that is, going with my gf and won’t be able to convince her to stand in a long line for cans.

I’m happy with a growler or two and/or a few pours later in the day if that’s my best bet for line avoidance though.

Will any of the stouts be available for growlers on Saturday? Are they worth? Or should I just stick to IPAs? I’m really interested in an oat or lactose IPA if they have any on tap, MA/ME/VT breweries don’t really bother with either of those ingredients but I love them in IPAs and I feel like I’ve seen OH do a lot of oat or lactose IPAs.

Cans probably won't last. Stouts might still be available in bottles. Grab one or two if they sound interesting. OH definitely does A COUPLE of oat/lactose IPAs, the exact frequency is oft debated.

Growlers will definitely be available. Remember to follow the specifications on their website or they will not fill your growlers.

They opened 5 or so early. I'd estimate about 80 or so in line by then

Wow, more people than I was expecting. Do you plan on hanging around at all or are you leaving after getting cans?

Yeah and taproom was pretty packed before they started selling cans! Several pallets left though and a fair number getting 3ish 4pks rather than a case.

    I left after getting cans.

@RobNewton Thanks for the info, sounds like there's a good chance cans will last throughout most of the night. Enjoy the beers!

I got there around 6:30 and they still had a full pallet out, wouldn't be surprised if cans made it into tomorrow. I can't make it on Saturday so this plus the Interboro release has me covered for the holiday weekend. I love that OH is able to produce this much beer every week now (can't help but think that the $1,000s worth of beer I've bought there over the last 3 years helped somewhat with the expansion hahah).

Great week for Other Half fans, locals can get a great beer during the week with no effort and everybody can go at it on Saturday. If they ever reach Trillium level production this thread can live happily ever after :wink:.

Had my first stop at trillium Canton this week. I was amazed at the 0 person line for carry out beer, and the selection that they had.

Now waiting for an hour in single digit cold for treehouse is a different story though.

Yea the line for Treehouse was pretty bad, was brutally cold out that day but at least we got a silent drop for our troubles.

Couldn't feel my feet 15 mins in. But I'd take standing in line there VS at OH anytime- regardless of hype. It would take OH at least 90 mins to get through a line TH busts out in 30-40. WITH Case counts. WITH true updates (unlike "plenty left").

Yea the Treehouse crew has been super impressive with every release I've gone to, its pretty painless all things considered. Its too bad that the lines are usually crazy so I've never gotten a chance to get pours while I'm there.

I think one of the reasons TH goes so fast is that the limits are low enough that basically everyone is maxing so they can just pack up allotments rather than having to grab what people want. When there is a case limit for each beer, only the people muling or reselling are maxing on everything.
